WeStay Suites Belle Chasse

"I booked a room in Belle Chasse for the night of Sept 8th and check out on the 9th. My teen daughter and I arrived at around 4 on the 8th, checked in, went up to the room and realized there was no way we were sleeping there. The room smelled like old fried food, the floors were dirty, there was a shoe print on one of the beds, there were blood stains on the window seat cushion, the chair that was along the counter type area had a stained and dirty cushion, and the phone and table between the beds were dirty and sticky. I am attaching pictures. We did not stay in the room more than 5 minutes, grabbed out bags and went down to the desk. The lady at the desk was very kind but said she couldn't do anything about it. She gave me this email address. I have emailed twice and called without any resolution to this matter. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME NOR MONEY!!! I see someone responded here, it is now a month and have yet to receive an email or a refund for a room that was not fit to sleep in! DO NOT STAY HERE"

"The beds were hard as a rock. And the rooms were in serious need of being updated. The bathtub had a spot where they used something to fill in a crack but it was not smoothed out. It was so bad that we couldn't take a bath. We could only take a shower. The sheets felt dirty. My husband and I didn't get hardly any sleep that night."

"Never book through any apps, I messed up and paid almost $900 for a week for a slightly over $700 room. Service is great at the desk, only 2 issues I can say which would be. 1. The ac has a mind of its own. 2. No breakfast for the price paid for a week other than just coffee or whatever little bit is left over inside of vending machines. Other than that, everything is great"

"Rooms had a bad smell the carpet was wet when you needed someone they was never at the desk or around to asset you. When I went to checkout there was no one at the front desk and I sat there for 20 minutes before having to leave for work"

"I've stayed here before in better rooms, but this last time wasn't too pleasant. The room smelt like it had gotten flooded. Kinda smelt like a wet dog and there is visual evidence on the wall, ceiling and carpet of water damage. A room with this amount of damage should be repaired or have a reduced rate. Also had to look around for front desk employee to check in & out. Looks nice from the outside and the previous rooms were much better."
