"The location is good, right beside the Interstate. The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable for me (remember that in India, beds are much firmer than in the United States because Indians are accustomed to futon beds rather than pillow beds). The rooms are equipped with a refrigerator (working in my room), microwave (not tested), and air conditioner (working and effective). The room did not smell of mold or mildew and had a laminate flooring that was much cleaner than the usual sticky carpet mess. That is the end of the good news. The bad news is that on my multi-day stay, they never bothered refreshing things like towels and soap and toilet paper forcing me to go to the desk to beg for those items so I could shower and shave. The room was never swept and the sheets and covers never tidied. As far as I can tell the only service they did between days was to remove the used towels in the bathroom, without putting new towels to replace them. The towels were also discolored, as were the sheets. Apparently bleach is a concept that the owners of this hotel have not yet discovered, despite the fact that the sheets and towels are white for exactly that reason (so that bleach can be used to clean, whiten, and sterilize them). Furthermore, the covers were filled with burn holes from their crack smoking clientele despite the fact that this was a non-smoking room. The deposit should have been charged and the burn hole filled cover replaced when the crack smokers checked out but instead they just placed the destroyed items back onto the bed. I won't say that this hotel is a total dump, but it's definitely gone downhill over the past few years."
"Microwave don't work, desk chair is missing all but one bolt, the rooms smelled pretty bad but we cleaned it up with air freshener and the ac on."
"Pros: They had a same day room available. The room was nicely organized with modern equipment (charging ports in light bases), although the wall-mounted TV was tiny (my husband called it a monitor). Cons: The in-room coffee maker was dirty; husband would not use it. Our luggage cart had a broken bar, which made it cumbersome so use. No breakfast was available at their posted breakfast time so we went to Bojangles across the interstate."
"We stayed here for 2 nights in the jacuzzi room 119. Right off the bat, the key card to our room didn’t work, so we had to get another one. No big deal. The guy at the front desk was more than willing to help us. When we entered the room, it was musty and hot. The AC wasn’t turned on. However, it did blow cold and the room cooled in about an hour or two. Let’s talk about the state of the room. On the surface, it looked clean. Upon further inspection, you could tell they don’t deep clean. Trash behind dressers and dead bugs under the desk. Not to mention the filthy mirror around the bathtub. The bathtub is made of degrading hollow wood, so you can tell that roaches probably live in there and were eating away at it. We were proven right when we saw a bigger sized German cockroach perched on the wood of the tub blending in. When we went to flush that one, there was another in the bathroom under the counter. Flushed that one too. In the bathroom, the toilet leaked, the shower did not work, and there was no ventilation, so it stayed hot. The bed was stiff and made a loud bang every time you got on it, and there were burn holes in the comforter. We inspected for bed bugs but found no signs. We found another roach when we turned the jets on in the bathtub, which consistently drained even with the plug in and a wash cloth on top of it. I guess it was hiding in the jets. On top of everything else, the tv barely worked with static displaying on the picture making it hard to tell most things apart. Also, there was a large gap under the door, so you could be easily heard in the hallway. You are also 20 or so minutes away from town and eating places. That’s why I gave location 2 stars. The last thing I’ll say is that the guy was knocking on my door 3 minutes before check out time telling me that it’s check out time. I answered the door brushing my teeth. We were charged an extra $180 with the $50 deposit because something on their system went wrong. On the bright side, we got all of it back. Overall, it’s just not something I would recommend or even somewhere I would consider staying again. There’s better places for better prices. We just booked late."
"We stopped by here on the way to New Orleans. The rooms looks good and spacious. However, a lot of things are wrong with this place. There are many power outlets in the room, but none of them works. They are too lose - all of them! It is as if they intentionally widened the socket openings so that guests cannot use electric power. Their website and other websites say they have free breakfast. However they still do not offer any breakfast item, in the pretext of long-gone pandemic! The coffee is the worst I have ever had! And the guy at the front desk has not learnt any hotel manners."
