Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Pineville, LA

"This was a tough review for me. I do want to say that every single person behind the front desk was incredibly nice and respectful. They welcomed my family with kindness and great conversation. We stayed in room 134 and although I do really like the old style and look of the hotel as a whole. There were some issue. This isn’t to say that the house keeping didn’t do their job, but the carpet, the couches, the bed, and the bathroom just had a lot of old stains and dirtiness that honestly couldn’t be cleaned unless they completely changed the carpet and furniture. The bathroom floor did have mold in the shower area and there was what seemed to be dried old blood on the floor. The couches had stains on them (probably from drinks) and the bed had food stains on the covers. Some of the lights in the room needed new bulbs. On a good note the AC in the room worked amazing and the layout and size of the room was perfect. I feel like if this hotel were to get a remodel with some new flooring and furniture it would actually be the best hotel in that area behind Hotel Bentley. Because this hotel is old it is very dark inside the halls and the rooms so if they lightened up the place that would help. All in all the staff was awesome, but the rooms were disappointing."

"When I Check-in. I was greeted with open arms and I really appreciate the guy that was working that morning. Very helpful and thoughtful and I will continue to keep reservations. Here room was clean.You can smell the cleaning products.The roll was Not smokey... Overall I give you guys a ten"

"We did not stay at the hotel, we actually coordinated an event at the conference center. Let me just say the location is perfect, but that is about the only good thing I can say about this location. From the time that we started planning and speaking with the coordinator through the hotel about renting out the conference center, we have had nothing but issues. On the day before the event we arrived to prepare the building. No one knew what we were talking about or why we were even there. We paid extra for table service on the night of the event, and they had everything prepared for a buffet. It took even longer for dinner to be served because we had to wait for them to get all the plates prepared. The food was amazing! It only took 45 minutes to finally get it."

"The only positive thing I can say is the desk clerk was nice. This is my very first time to be disappointed in a country inn and suites! We stayed in room 133. There is a lot left to be desired. The very first thing I notice walking in to the room is the badly stained carpet and badly stained sofa sleeper. The room was hot. We tried to pull out sofa sleeper which looked questionable as far as even sitting on it . Very dirty! Opened it worse inside! Dirty stained sheets on it. We closed that right back. Tried to turn down air. It made the most god awful noise Noone could sleep through. Not that we could sleep on those rock hard mattresses that squeak because they are wrapped in plastic. I ended leaving at 2 am. My husband stayed but I did not. This place needs a major upgrade! So disappointed. Now driving several hours back home on zero sleep!"

"The rooms are clean. We had plenty of room I. Our queen suite. Check in and out was very easy. We asked for an extra blanket which took a while but we finally got one. We’ve stayed twice for tournaments and had pleasant experiences both time."
