"We stopped here on our way from 30 miles north of Shreveport on our party barge returning to Pineville. 174 mile trip lasting 4 days. Kind of a Huckleberry Finn adventure for old folks. Really great people. I hated to leave. Very clean facilities. Wish my yard looked as good as theirs. If you’re on the river do not miss a chance to stop at Midway to pick up party stuff. You’ll be impressed. We didn’t stay the night but from what I saw accommodations are second to none."

"They made me feel like an old friend. Campground is very clean. Great view of the Red River. The balcony behind the store makes it a GRAND view, beautiful sunrises and sunset. I spent 30 days there in my camper and am considering going back very soon."
