"The Lucky Cat secret restaurant was everything and more! The ambience brings you back to the 1920s, the service was fantastic, we ordered 10 different items from them menu and all were phenomenal. Ordered several drinks and they made great cocktails that looked and tasted great! Highly recommend this place!!"

"The atmosphere is really cool. The food is 10/10 delicious!!! Lobster Deviled Eggs were very good. The Adobe Rack of Lamb is AMAZING, the lamb was cooked perfectly, the mash potatoes were buttery and fluffy, the brussel sprouts were tasty and the gravy wrapped everything together wonderfully. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!"

"I was chilling downtown by myself when I googled restaurants and saw this place pop up. I was SO excited! I love an elevated restaurant! The first red flag was the drinks. They DO NOT make drinks off menu. Which is SO bizarre to me, as a speakeasy, which is literally based on BAR CULTURE… And the drinks were very overpriced in my opinion as well. If you want something other than their menu drinks, you’re out of luck. I also ordered a soda, which the waitress brought over in a wine carafe? And poured into a wine glass. So I got a small amount of flat soda in a wine glass with no ice. The food itself wasn’t bad. I ordered the rack of lamb which tasted pretty good! The mashed potatoes were delicious. But they didn’t bother to trim the asparagus? Half of it was hard stalk, and totally inedible. You can see it clearly in the photo I’ve attached. And by looking at other photo reviews on this page, their asparagus isn’t trimmed either. Very VERY odd for fine dining. Another strange occurrence happened when I asked for salt and pepper. They brought me a little bowl of salt with no spoon, and a grinder. But the grinder was also full of salt? Luckily I caught it before I over salted my food, but I’ve never experienced a salt grinder at a restaurant. All in all, not worth the price I paid. At the price point they are at, I expected much better. This was not high caliber fine dining. I think this place might be new though? So maybe things will shape up?"

"This place is on its way for a Michelin nod at least! The atmosphere was cozy and the lighting was great but the food and cocktails is the heart of it. The seafood is amazing. I forgot I was in Texas and the quality of food and preparation made me feel like I was in Europe. We went all out and got the lobster, bass, bone marrow, the deviled eggs, and pork chop. Everything tasted fresh , delicious, and creamy. The cocktails were also prepared very well and some of them even had an experience. Very impressed with this hidden gem. The chef also checked on us and was very personable . You can feel the love and care he puts into his food."
