"Service was great. The food wasn't. My cheeseburger was room temperature/cold & dry. Crab balls were fishy tasting & mushy, like mashed potatoes. The mushrooms were good. The Bloody Mary I had was not too great. We've ate at Charlie's a few times. It's been a 50/50 chance of the food being good."
"Just to clarify - this is a honky tonk bar with a restaurant attached rather than a restaurant with a bar. The bar is a really fun place to hang out. The servers were friendly. Beer prices are good. The place feels a little run down, but it was surprisingly clean, even the restrooms. The menu in the restaurant is mainly comfort food. Nothing spectacular but tasty and large portions and decent prices."
"Happened across this bar and grill on our way to Beaumont and are we ever glad we did. Super fun place. The food was absolutely delicious and served. Y the delightful Karen. Really friendly and lots of fun. Hope to come back again on our next visit to Texas. And thanks for all the great suggestions. Looking forward to trying crawfish."
"It was great! Me, my son and parents got out for awhile and really enjoyed it. We shot pool and had a wonderful visit. The bartender was amazing. Very courteous and prompt! I highly recommend! And outside was perfect!"
