"The Bank is great for Authenticate Wood doors. New or Old home builders and contractors will appreciate this place."
"The perfect place for a rambling browse of historical architectural details, from doors to hardware. Prices are right. The high side but management does negotiate offers."
"This place is amazing!!! Restored hardware, windows, doors, etc. The owners are great people and were open to chatting about their work. I cannot even begin to describe the hard-to-find hardware, chandeliers, louvered shutters, etc. that are here. If you are restoring an historic home or just adding some character to a modern home, this is the place to come in NOLA!"
"I can't say enough about how cool this place is and how much selection they have but BEWARE of the sanding service. We were really happy with the doors we selected and mostly satisfied with the price. That said I'm writing this to those who may use their service to strip and square the doors. We got an old pair of french doors and loved the charm. We paid the extra money to have them sand and they did such a good job that it looked almost new.... which is not what we were going there to purchase. My biggest complaint is that when they went to square them they added a piece of wood to the sides which looks NOTHING like the original wood. And we were planning to keep them natural! :( Very disappointed in that aspect of it so think carefully before you spend the extra $. Also, if they were to break glass in process etc then that's on you too so we heard. You can see piece of wood added in pictures. Update: so despite having loved the way they originally looked my wife couldn't live with the changes. We called them back and they were happy to work with us. They let us to exchange them for another set. This time we took them home as is and love them...see recent picture. Updating rating based on good customer service"
"Very helpful staff. Amazing finds. I go here every time I come to town. It’s so neat to look around and see all the history."
