"Do NOT use this company for GAP insurance. They will deny receiving the documents they request and/or request additional documents beyond what is required just to avoid paying the claim. They will refuse to refund your money when they fail to provide the product you purchased. They should be shut down!!"
"They deserve no stars what so ever. The contract clearly states 150% of NADA retail book. It also states it will cover deductible up to $1000. Which they did neither. They also didnt pay until 5 months Later. I dont know why it took so long im assuming so that way I can pay down more of it so it wouldnt look bad when they short changed me. by thousands."
"Very rude reps they hang up the phone, do not care about customer. Completely unprofessional company and they make it hard to navigate through their portal. I had two documents that were submitted via email. Had to resend those three times. The portal was updated as received but when I called to follow up on another document listed as missing, the rep was repeatedly saying the document they marked as received on the portal was missing and was not received. She did not try to listen at all so I finally said I will send you a screenshot of the portal that shows it was received. Then she opened a document and said oh this refund of canceled extended warranty and I said yes thatโs it. When I asked about the other document listed as not received she said oh we do have that one. She said she would send the packet to adjuster. I said thank you and she just hung up on me. It is apparent they do not want to have clients coming back to them and they really could not care less about treating clients with basic common courtesy. Hanging up on people is perfectly normal to them. The documents that I had faxed took almost five days to update on their portal. They will also not accept combined documents via email it has to be all separated."
"They are very unprofessional and so not care about their customers. I have waited over 4 months to have my case finalized. Now, I am still paying almost $3000 MORE then I should be. Gap coverage is supposed to cover the remaining balance of the loan, (minus the value paid by primary) if you're car is totaled. Now I can't even get one document from APPI, for my other insurance company, when they request 8 documents, maybe even 10. I was hung up on and lied to when I called Amma verbally requested the payment breakdown. Yes, that's it. Just the payment breakdown ."
"Negative 0 stars if possible. They take they're sweet time with every step of the way to make sure they stretch out the process as if they benefit from stalling. To review a doc takes them a few business days, for them to accept the claim takes a month+, now I'm at the end of the process still paying for a rental out of pocket and a car note since they sent out my check via usps with no tracking. It's been 2 weeks 10+ business days and my loan company STILL HAS NOT RECEIVED ANY CHECK FROM APPI!!!!"
