"I want to take time to commend Barbara that works at the Johnston St Lafayette Albertsons location. She went out of her way to help me at the Coinstar and when she saw me standing in line to cash my receipt from Coinstar, she directed me to the shorter line with a shorter wait time. She is working behind the scenes for Albertsons to make the visit to the store a pleasant one."

"Worst choice of the grocery stores. Crazy expensive! $7 for a small bag of potato chips expensive. Selection and produce quality are hit or miss. For quality, try a health food store. For significantly cheaper, Super 1. For premium local, Rouses. Aldi is both cheap and quality."

"The good: I gave them two stars instead of one because the baked goods, like cake, cookies and muffins are very good. The not good: Prices are too high. They run out of sale items too quickly. The customer service is not good. Was there yesterday and when ready to check out I walked past the registers, I noticed two registers with lights on and no one at the register. I walked right by a worker who was standing at the end of the register. He never said one word to me, so I thought, he must not be checking out people. On my way to self-check, I noticed the worker that ignored me, was all nicey-poo with the next person who walked by asking, do you need to check out. The difference between us, she was young and pretty, I am old and not pretty. And it's doesn't end there. In the self-check, which I rarely use, I couldn't figure out how to scan one of my items. I looked for a worker and see one looking at me, with a grin on her face. She could obviously see I am having issues and never attempted to ask if I needed help. At this point I'm ready to walk out. Jeeze, the things a person will endure for one muffin! I will look for another store that sells good muffins."

"Its a clean and well stocked store with a good variety. Meat and produce are better quality than some other stores. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The quality makes up for slightly higher prices as does the overall shopping experience. And they always have great sales, digital coupons in the app and a good rewards program. They have good variety of each item and I always see them having fresh organic veggies which are mostly available."
