"I been coming in dollar mania since I moved here in 2019. I went into this particular location and got $114 worth of products. The cashier tells me they have a 4% fee for using the debit/credit card machine. Which I would have had to pay $119. Why on earth with all the money that comes thru your doors would you start charging your customers a percentage to use your machine? Myself and the next person just left out the store. I want be back cause why would you do that when there is plenty of money coming thru all your stores to offset that fee."

"I’m a hairstylist and I used to come there and buy in bulk for my products and client’s hair. I know it’s been a while bc I prefer to order rather than spend my money with them after I received attitude for just inquiring about a brand of hair and bad product. This time, All I wanted to do was smell the edge control and some frizzy hair chick staring me down like a hawk was rude telling me I couldn’t open the top right in front of them to smell it. Politely took my list of things to get back in my real YSL to another beauty supply store bc I have never heard of anything so ridiculous. Like it’s bad enough there’s no where else to buy products locally. It’s a sign to stop supporting them anyways"

"First, check the Yelp reviews because these don't reflect the issues at this specific store. Beyond subPar, less than wholly unprofessional type place with the owner having weak English skills, staff isn't on the floor to assist and the Black male Cashier with 3/4a hair texture is the reason I walked away and decided they definitely don't want my money. They also charge a 4% fee for swiping your card. I dropped or left behind a packet of fake gold earrings and while asking for pricing on 9 items ...I realized I didn't have it. Asked the male Cashier and he said no I didn't give it to him. No worries, I'll be right back let me get them and I formed the elder lady behind me that she can go ahead. I guess he didn't hear me or didn't care to hear and got to talking loudly to a coworker to hand him a basket. I said "Sir, I'll be right back as I'm going to get the earrings I must've dropped." Still talking loudly and agitated for what reason I don't know .... Welp, that's that and I left. I'm not going to spend my money in place that begrudges me, talks openly in a hostile and unnecessarily can't or won't deliver service. It's weird how the lack of personal power shows up and worse how we can mistreat one another."

"Like I mentioned previously about this Dollar Mainly, they are dishonest about their mistakes. I for sure saw the price of $5.99 on the items I purchased, but that cashier holds up the line for 15-20 minutes to change the price to $9.99. I would have not had a problem with it if the cashier would have acknowledged that it was priced wrong. Heck, I know they are not Walmart & was not going to give me the product for the price it initially showed. I should have used the RECORDRECEIPT App. which protects/covers my behind & assets. The cashier could not argue against RECORDRECEIPT. Double heck, they were a WHOPPING 30 minutes late opening the store, SMH."
