"I should have posted this review along time ago. I went in to Gwen a few months ago looking for a last-minute dress for a party that I had to go to. Because I am unusual measurements, when didn't have anything as is for me. However, we spoke about the different options. Gwen told me the places I could look for a nice cheap dress and what to look for in those dresses. She then explained that I should bring the dress into her so that we could modify it. Once I was able to find a dress, under her instruction, I brought it in. While we spoke, when realized that I also sew. Once we had decided what could be done with the dress to make it look nicer than it was, she gave me the option of paying her to do it or she explain to me how I could do it myself, and how she thought it was a within my capabilities. Because Gwen is so honest, I ended up not buying anything from her. She didn't want me to spend money that I didn't need to. Through her instruction, and through her honesty, I was able to find a gorgeous ball gown for under $40, and under three hours of work on my part. I will continue to go to Gwen for anything I need because I know that she will do the best that she can to help me."

"This experience was HORRIBLE. I live in one state the bride lived in one state I convinced her to use this location because of one of my sister wedding attire. Once she recieved my money the need to get my stuff finished in a timely manner went out the door. Everything and everyone in the new Orleans area was more important. She was worried about new money verses obligations. Very unprofessional. Now if you live in new Orleans this is the spot for you because you can just pop up. She claimed it wasnt ready because my neice gained weight. Not denying that but if the dress would have been recieved on the promised date then that would have been on us. She kept putting off the fitting time for weather, bedding, etc. Original date was 1 April we didnt recieve the completed dress and pants until 26 April and the wedding was on 27 April. Then wanted to catch an attitude because I said I was gonna call her the entire last week.The funny thing is I'm getting remarried and really wanted to use her for my entire wedding party but I think not. You will not get my money and treat me like my event dont matter. I will take my money to someone that truly cares. If you stay out of state dont waste your time."
