"The towing company Stanford is using towed my car while i momentarily parked at Stanford, after hours to pick up food at the restaurant next door. I wasn’t even gone for 5 minutes as I was only picking up food I ordered in advance and they towed away my car in less than five minutes. The only way this is possible is if the tow truck was close by. On time towing, was watching the parking lot, waiting for anyone to park so that they could tow their car as fast as possible so that they can charge $260 just to get it back. This is unjust practice as it is an unreasonable amount to charge for retrieval. Louisiana government should sanction towing companies to prevent them from towing someone’s car in less than five minutes without giving out a verbal warning. They could have verbally warned me since they were aware of my arrival such that they were able to tow my car in less than five minutes while I was picking up a door dash order that was already made, next door."
