"The Ellerbe location has got to be the worst pharmacy in town. On several occasions, it has taken 3-4 attempts to pick up prescriptions. Via text, you are notified that they received the prescription from the doctor, but they don’t ever bother to fill the order. The latest prescription was called in last Wednesday. I attempted to pick it up on Saturday; not ready. I attempted to pick it up on Sunday, but the pharmacist didn’t show up to work which meant the employees could not retrieve/touch/distribute medication even if they order was filled & simply waiting to be picked up. Attempted to get the medication again today. The order was still not filled. After waiting in line for 30 , the pharmacist suggested that I get out of line & go back to the end to give him time to fill the order because he said it was “on hold “. I had already reached out to my physician to confirm that the order had been sent in, and there were no problems that would keep me from being able to pick up the medicine. I informed him of this, and he said “oh well you have to get back in line.” This is a recurring issue at this location."
"I’ve never been treated with as much disrespect as this CVS pharmacy. I had experiences where they refuse to open the drive three window when it was raining and I had an extremely sick baby in the car. When I called to see why it wasn’t open I was told they just “ aren’t opening it that day “.when I asked why and noted they didn’t gave a sign she put me on hold and never picked up again. Then , I’ve been trying to pick up my medication for two days. They keep saying they are receiving an error code. I called my insurance who confirmed it was an error on their end. She called the pharmacist and have them a number to call to fix it. I called the next morning because the situation still wasn’t fixed. The lady who answered the phone and point blank told me they aren’t calling to fix it today because it would take too long. When I brought up the fact legally they are the only ones who can fix this she transferred me to the pharmacist. The pharmacist told me to call my Insurance- I gave her the whole story about how this was all handled yesterday all she had to do was call the number to get it fixed. She put me on hold for a long time and then the lady I talked to first picked up again . She told me the pharmacist isn’t doing that for me today because it would take too long. When I reminded her that legally, they are the only ones who can fix that and I point-blank asked are you refusing to help me she said call your insurance company. I reminded her that I’ve already done all of that the only one who can fix that is them by calling the number. she kept repeating over and over to call my insurance company even though I had proven multiple times that we had already solved this with my insurance company. She then told me that she didn’t like my attitude and that I can transfer my medicine somewhere else and hung up on me in the middle of being responding. I’ve never been treated with such disrespect and unprofessionalism in my life. It blew my mind that they were point-blank telling me I refused to help you because it will take too long. After getting hung up on, I realize that neither one of the ladies told me their name. When we called back to get their names to file a formal complaint, they refuse to tell us their names then put us on hold and never picked up the phone again."
"If I could give them 0 stars I would. Cvs in Shreveport is the worst pharmacy in America. They don't do what they say, they are rude as helland do not care about anything. No integrity had by this branch on Ellerbe rd. This is my last time!"
"Talking to the staff on the phone, when they actually answer, is hard bc they’re rude. And if you have a coupon for your meds, you have to stand in line forever for them to tell you to go to another line just to have applied to your medication. Then, instead of going back to the front of the line were you were you have to go back to the end of the line AGAIN. My med was sent in ELECTRONICALLY earlier in the day. Inexcusable."
"Had a great experience receiving a vaccine here, staff were extremely helpful & courteous - I was particularly impressed with pharmacist Dr. Olivier. In the midst of everything a pharmacy has going on, he addressed nearly every patient / customer, helped with OTC products selection, and for me he personally made sure my address & insurance were updated while preparing my vaccination. And, his vaccination technique was perfect. I later shopped for a few household things here, and the manager + cashier were attentive & helpful. Had no problems finding what I needed, also the self checkout worked well."
