"My car broke down and found out it was the alternator. We called around places that would fix our car. We bought the alternator, just needed someone to install it. St. Romain's Tire took on the tedious job. When we went to pick it up, they told us how hard it was. They had to go under the car to replace the alternator. I don't think they ever wanted to see it again. lol They were honest and very reasonable. That was 4 months ago. Last week, my car kept sputtering and coughing and we thought it might be the alternator again. We took it back to St. Romain's and they replaced the spark plugs (which we bought), and told us that it may be the oil going back into the place where the spark plugs went (I don't know all the mechanical stuff they said) but hopefully they fixed it. Their cost of labor was very reasonable again. Well, Alton and I took a trip to Arkansas (our spontaneous trip) and the car started sputtering again. I took it back today and St. Romain's took it on again. lol Their diagnostics machine picked up a #6 something or other. They have been troopers. My car isn't an easy task. It's a 2003 Ford Escape with alot of miles on it. I bought it with 120,000 miles on it and I have had it over 2 yrs.. and have been around all over Louisiana! lol If you ever need anything at all. mechanically, I truly recommend St. Romain's Tire in Center Point, La. They DO go above and beyond to help you. And their cost of labor doesn't cost you your savings."
