"They will do and say anything to sell you an RV. Charge you fees out the butt, for services they say they will do to said RV, yet not ever do. Then on the day you pick your RV up one of the issues shows up, they just tell you, oh it will be fine... let you leave with your $55,000 camper, IT IS NOT FINE, and then you have to make your first payment on said camper, before they will even come look at what is wrong with it, because they have to decide who is at fault and who is going to pay for selling me a defective RV. Then another month passes before they get the "parts" in, come out to replace them... that fixes it... DOES NOT FIX IT... then weeks go by... nothing... I have to send an email and call the corporate office to get anything done, then they "order more parts" 3 more weeks go by... they come out change them out... still not the fix... now I have to bring it back to them and leave it with them.. MIND YOU I LIVE IN THIS RV AWAY FROM HOME FOR WORK. And they have no concern about this at all, and then it has been 7 hours since I was told that they would call me to set that appointment up... and still nothing... so you want to know what I think of Camping World...I cannot put that in this forum, as I am sure it would get deleted for being vulgar... I think they are a rip off and will sell you anything to get it off their lot, and then forget about you, because they already took you for all your money and they are sitting in high cotton now and could care less about you and your issues. So, I would suggest that you if you are looking to purchase an RV, buy it from anyone but Camping World, they do not do what they say they will do, they charge you thousands of dollars and put in writing that they are going to go through your camper to check it out, but never do a thing... except take your money. That is my honest and true opinion of Camping World and as far as my saleswoman... she won't even return a phone call... she got her commission and could care less about me as well. STAY AWAY FROM CAMPING WORLD! DO NOT EVEN ENTERTAIN GOING THERE!"
"Purchased camper from Camping World Gulf Breeze(GB) December 3, 2023. It was late and when I arrived the camper generator would not start. I was told it was a dead battery which was a lie. It was a faulty battery and they swapped the battery. This is after they SUPPOSEDLY completed a full check of all the plumbing, electrical, mechanical components that I was charged $699. I ask for the keys and they cannot find the key to open the storage compartments or the generator. Then to top it off, they only had the one set with keys that opened nothing on the keyring. I get to the camping spot to stay the evening as it was late and did not want to drive in the dark. None of the electrical outlets work in the kitchen of bathroom. The did a full inspection yet the GFCI was tripped. Go to turn the outside lights on and those do not work either. I call CW GB and they do not seem interested in my issues since the camper is sold. I then contact the Better Business Bureau and less than 48 hours later I am contacted by their corporate customer relations (Ms. LaJoy) and she assures me that CW will make this right. I then get an apology call by the GM of the GB site and the next day a second set of keys to my camper arrive. I drop the camper to the BB CW January 15, 2024 and it took until February 26, 2024 to get my exterior led lights replaced. Their GB location has the worst customer service ever. If I could rate them negative I would. The Regional Manager had to authorize the replacement LED as GB and BB never received a reply back from GB. March 2, 2024, I just received an update that the LED lights are repaired. Now the door lock needs to be replaced as it was misdiagnosed by a junior technician. I can call their customer support number but that is a joke. They will tell you all sorts of things but the reality is the parts will take three to four weeks to come in on a replacement. They will not priority ship a faulty part, even though you have been waiting four weeks for the part that came in damaged. March 6, 2024 and still not ready for delivery. This is three months after I purchased the camper. I am beyond frustrated that a MAJOR retailer is having so many issues making basic repairs."
"Donna Jean, the store manager spent quality time helping me find a purchase, going out of her way to help me find an RV part. She wore a shirt that said "Good Sam." I told her she should be named "Good Donna!""
"This was the worst experience ever. I gave 2 stars only because Dawn and Austin in service were courteous and as helpful as they could be under the circumstances. Our 5th wheel camper was in the shop in Breaux Bridge for over 4 months due to issues with the leveling system. They have no clue how to diagnose problems and did nothing but change parts (17k parts and labor) until the problem went away. When I picked up my RV it was a mess, poor quality work, hydraulic oil all over inside the front compartment, my batteries were dead due to being left unplugged with all the lights on in their shop. The underbelly panel is falling off due to being re-installed without washers. When I complained to Management I was told the repairs were to factory specifications.The store Manager, Stacy was always unavailable and never made contact with me even after I made several request to speak to him. I did contact "Marcus Vip Team" for assistance several times but they are also useless and always sided with store Management. If you are considering the purchase of a new RV or Service you would be better off going elsewhere ."
"GREAT PLACE TO BUY.. FRIENDLY SERVICE. As I read the 1 star reviews and recognized one thing, you can’t make everyone happy. I’m glad we purchased from here. I’ve bought from elsewhere before and was totally disappointed. But with all the 5 star reviews, I know they make most all of their customers happy."
