"The lady doing my manicure didn't treat my nail beds or trim my cuticles. She just took a drimmel to my nails and sanded around them. She kept pushing the dip even though I had already said no to her and the front I didn't want it and that I just wanted nail polish. I just got tired of the back and forth and agreed to it, that I will put on myself. Then when she was buffing out the dip she was rough with me like idk what I did to upset her but she seemed upset and was taking it out my nails. She also left a ton of the dip under my nails. When I told her that I wanted to it gone she told me to wash it off and I tried. Didn't really work because there's so much. When I told her this she just took a tiny drimmel (that she was already using with another client) to the underside of my nails and went in so rough and deep I am surprised I didn't bleed. The skin around and under nails really hurts from having nothing but a drimmel put to them. And she didn't even get it all. There's still dip under my nails. I was not about to ask her to try and fix it again, since it would probably be here just roughing up my undernails more with a dirty drimmel. I tried talking about it with the guy in the front but he just said I would have wash it off. Which trying to wash it off just causes more stinging pain. Also while there is still a lot of dip underl my nails, there are gaps on the sides of my nails where I can still see bit of the nails peaking through. I will say the only positive about this place was Linh who did my pedicure. She did a great job with the pedicure, the massage, and she was so, so sweet. Literally the best. Only thing is that I told them I didn't want shellac on my nails and they still did it. There was also the issue with being transparent about how they price things. I came here on recommendation from some family and they told me they usually pay only around $70 for a mani and pedi. When I had made a selection from the book, they made it seem like it would include both the mani and the pedi. As this usually something thats pretty common for most nail place around here. That is apparently not the case. Altogether with the dipped nails and the Orange Lemon pedicure with the shellac, plus the adding extras of not trimming your cuticles and using dirty equipment. It was $133. All that being said if you are able to get Linh for a pedicure, then go for it. Anything else tho I suggest going somewhere else."
"Absolutely the only place I have found in Southeast Texas that can dip my nails like I like them. They also use really good products. The owner is always there making sure every customer leaves happy. She has some awesome staff that really take care of you!"
"Only place I trust! I’ve been doing colored French tip for a year now, and I’ve never been disappointed! They are sturdy, don’t chip, and last me for weeks even through all of my sports!"
"I came here to get dip nails. First, when I picked my color, they came back and said they didn’t have it and helped me find one that was similar. Once she actually got it on, it was not the same color I’d asked for at all (wanted shimmery champagne and got chunky gold glitter). I showed her before starting my finger that had a sore spot on it and she said okay, but when it came time to file, she squeezed it seemingly even harder than the other fingers. The manager (I assume) was going around standing right over their shoulders for several minutes each while working on customers’ nails. It made me feel uncomfortable, seemed to make my nail tech uncomfortable, and even another nail tech commented when she moved over to him that she was making him nervous. When she was finished she felt a bump on one finger and instead of actually fixing it, tried to pick it off with her nail and then just left it. Once I left and actually could see to inspect them, I noticed several fingers that the color did not go all the way on the side of the nails, a few were misshapen (lopsided), and some chunks of color on the sides of my finger on the skin. It was unsanitary actually dipping my fingers into the container of powder that they use on everyone rather than brushing or pouring. The application was also very thin, which is why it’s not surprising that I already have chips out of three nails only a week later. They barely spoke a word to me while I was there, and they also seemed to be being rude to some traffic surveyors that were working outside their business. It was nice that I got my arms/hands massaged with it, but overall I’m very disappointed."
