"BEWARE OF SERVICES FOR CARGO TRAILERS:::::: Received a lot of work here before I took my trip to Colorado triple towing. Had a hitch, tow lights and electric break connection added to my fifth wheel toy-hauler. Then brought my cargo trailer at the same time to service the trailer along with brand new tires and 110v plug so I can plug in the trailer for interior lights.Only packed outdoor wicker furniture in the trailer and left straight out of Thib’s to the interstate. I didn’t even get 150 miles before my trailer bearings “locked up” and caused my family and I to get stranded before even getting to Shreveport. It delayed us 16 hours and cost almost $300 dollars. Pictures show why I had it all serviced and what it looked like. Very disappointed by Shane’s decision NOT to reimburse for the repairs from Crater Trailers of Shreveport. Ben in sales had thought it wouldn’t be a problem but apparently it was. I think it’s bad business. UPDATE & Response: When the trailer was brought to your business I asked Ben to please do an inspection of my trailer because I was leaving on at 2,500 mile trip. I don’t care what your paperwork says but it was asked because I had just purchased the trailer. Just as I asked to check out my RV. My motivation to write this 2yrs later is because people need to be made aware of you not standing behind your work. I have no motive other than to make sure myself and anyone else to make sure work performed is documented on paperwork so they don’t get in this same situation."

"I had a very good experience with my tralier pickup day. I had to custom order mine due to specific options I added and had to wait a while as expected. Ben in customer service was very helpful with all aspects of this transaction. Thanks Ben! My trailer was an enclosed cargo unit with all aluminum construction that was under 950 pounds down the road empty. Very nice construction."

"Great service. I broke an axle on I10 and they were the only place I could find that could custom build my axle. They also were very fast, under an hour , and I was back on the road. Just want to say thanks from one business owner to another."
