National Car Rental

"The BTR ( Baton Rouge Airport) has drastically gone down in service. I’ve been renting cars every 2 weeks since the end of Covid and have never been so disappointed as I’ve been over the last 6 months with the worst experience being my recent visit this past week. The rep and the manager where the worse and because of the lack of appreciation for my business I will no longer rent from Enterprise/National and will move all my business to a different vendor. To think that I’m having to leave a review like this considering I spend 15k-20k per year since 2020 is disheartening. Hopefully leadership will work with the BTR location to get the level of service back to what we expect as customers."

"The old bait and switch was done at the Baton Rouge location. I reserved a one way vehicle with unlimited miles and it was switched up on me when I picked up the car. I am beyond upset and have been so loyal to National and they betrayed me. My trust is 100% gone. Unless something can be done to regain my trust I will never rent from here again and will tell has many people as I know the experience and shady actions by National!!"

"Returned my car yesterday prior to my flight home. Now getting notifications asking to extend my rental. Had 25 cars overflowing into the 3rd floor ramp for their rental department. Was an absolute mess. Car was dropped off ahead of my scheduled time. They clearly didn’t check the car in even to this point. Just terrible service. Will never use National again."

"Reserved a Luxury Class vehicle at BTR. Once presented with the keys, I was was stunned at the Filty & Dirty condition of this vehicle. I rejected this vehicle. Was put in a cleaner vehicle, but not really my preferred brand/model. As an Executive Level traveler, it is almost with a HIGH CERTAINTY that each executive grade vehicle. They are not cleaned properly, the inside for sure, and the outside windows 98% of the time are NASTY. And they are charging premium fee’s for subpar products. It is so frustrating. If it wasn’t a travel necessity, I would make a brand change. I have before, and I’m close to doing it again unfortunately. Very disappointed with National…"

The vehicle was clean and well-maintained. Hunter assisted me with car pick up and drop off, he was friendly and helpful. Overall, I highly recommend National for your rental car needs."
