"I accidentally booked an appointment for this beauty bar chain which is in Louisiana. I live in Texas. I paid in full because I have had great service with the bar here in Texas. I immediately realized my mistake, cancelled with more than enough notice, and requested my refund. The appointment was on 7/3. I have contacted them several times with little to no response. It was just a simple brow wax, minus the deposit. I should get back $14 and some change. I know it’s not a lot of money, but it’s MY money! There is no reason it should be taking this long."
"Had to prepay online for service. Showed up for my appt and the door was locked. Knocked repeatedly. Called the number- always straight to voicemail. Sent messages that I was outside. No response for 2 hours. I asked for her to cancel my charges- which she refused. 1 star but should be a negative 1. Would NOT RECOMMEND."
"So I Got Individuals Done Here She Told Me To Keep My Eyes Open & Got Glue All In My Eye. The Eyelash Extensions Were Caked On My Eyes & Gave Me a Chemical Burn Definitely Never Coming Here Again."
"I hate leaving a negative review, especially for such nice people. They really are very, very nice. But I have to warn anyone who has thick, beautiful, middle eastern eyebrows: do NOT get your brows waxed here. My eyebrows have never been this thin or this uneven in my 28 years and I want to cry. I had such nice eyebrows before, and I asked the stylist several times to keep them as thick as possible and just clean them up. She then took half of my brows off and made one eyebrow shorter than the other by at least half an inch, right in the middle of my face where you can notice it most. I took a chance on them because the reviews were all so good. If you already have pencil thin eyebrows or need filling, then this is the place for you. They seem to do that well. But if you have nicely shaped, thick brows, don't risk it like I did. Now I just have to pray my brows grow back the way they once were. Sorry to leave a negative review, I feel bad because again they were so warm and friendly. But I just don’t want this to happen to anyone else in a similar situation."
"First time going to Envy Beauty Bar and I will be back. The staff was very professional. They are very aware of time and there is no wait time and Miya was friendly, fast, and efficient. She did an AMAZING job on my brow tint as well as my individual lashes. I highly recommend this place!"
