"The mechanic was SUPER nice when I called. He was filled for that day but still told me to go in the afternoon to at least check out to see what was wrong with my car. We got there, left the car with him and headed for the beach while he checked things out. He let us use his beach access which was very thoughtful. He was able to diagnose the issue and suggested a tire shop not on the mainland to use. He insisted to not even be paid for his time which was VERY nice of him. I would recommend him ANY DAY and ANY issue to be fixed or diagnosed!"

"Came here for an oil change and he was unfortantly booked for the day. Fair enough. Car broke down as I was trying to leave! However, he was very friendly and honest about the problem. Only took him a day to get the specific part and to fix the entire problem. Changed my oil on top of that. Even gave us a ride back to our house so we wouldn't be stranded in the heat. Prime of the summer too. Gladly will return for future business. I was a little hesistant when I read the one star review about coming here, but it was nothing like what that user described."

"The owner, Mr. Roussel was very angry and rude toward me. I tried to remain as calm and professional as possible. He ordered a part and installed without telling me or asking for my consent. I told him the problem with my car from the very beginning and he still proceeded to install and replace parts that were not actually broken. When it came time to pay the bill, I asked for him to help work things out with me because I am a college student here for the summer, and he repeatedly badgered me as I walked away to go get his money and under his breath he said to me "F*** you." This was without a doubt the most disrespectful mechanic I have ever been associated with and he is unwilling to listen to his customers when they try to tell him about their car problems. In my opinion, if you are stuck in Grand Isle, then I would find a way to have your car towed to the mainland to be seen by another mechanic because this repair shop is the definition of "Highway Robbery.""

"My sister's camper broke down on LA1. We stopped there to get some information. Mr. Roussel gather a bunch of tools and a jack for us to use. His kindness was much appreciated. Hope we never have any automotive problems in Grand Isle but if we did I would sure use Mr. Roussel."
