"Reasonable prices. Both my son and I had work done last week. My son had a Chrysler Town and Country van and I had a work van. They did a good job of both our vehicles. Had to wait on a part for my son's van, so it took 3 or 4 days. My work van was ready the next day. We are pleased with their work."

"My husband took his car to Shade Repair shop in Merryville for the second time and our second experience with this business was very disappointing. My husband's car was needing a new fuel tank. He is not a mechanic and did not know if he needed a fuel pump or not. He spoke to Mr. Perry after dropping off his car about wanting both the fuel tank and the fuel pump to be replaced. My husband also recalls in his face-to-face conversation with Mr. Perry, if the fuel pump doesn't need replacing leave it alone. His office assistant called my husband late Monday afternoon asking him why he wanted the fuel pump replaced. My husband explained his reasoning but before the conversation was over. He told her, if the fuel isn't bad DO NOT REPLACE IT. They went ahead and replaced a perfectly good fuel pump telling us, "we did what you told us" but they were told TWICE not to change the fuel pump if it wasn't bad. We went in to pay the 600 dollar bill. I asked his office assistant if the fuel pump was bad, she said, no. I then asked, why was it replaced when my husband TOLD her over the phone, if it wasn't bad DO NOT REPLACE IT. Although she did apologize and offered to pay it. We told her no, I was livid and physically upset because of their lack of communication skills. I wasn't happy with paying the bill, but it was paid in full. The office assistant knew she made a mistake. When confronting Mr. Perry about it, he became immediately defensive, dismissive and walked off without hearing the entire complaint. As a second-time customer, at the very least, Mr. Perry should have heard the complaint. I was looking for accountability, apology, and owning he and his office assistant made a mistake that cost my family 300+ extra that was unnecessary. My husband is NOT a mechanic. We took his car to get fixed by someone who is a licensed, mechanic. As a well-established mechanic, you know you don't change a part that is NOT BAD! Not only did his assistant call my husband telling her no, do NOT change a perfectly working fuel pump Mr. Perry should have confirmed with my husband again and or spoke to his office assistant before replacing a perfectly working fuel pump. I do not recommend this business because of their lack of communication skills and the owners' rudeness and inability to hear a customer's complaint without a cool head. I will openly admit, I was physically upset and my tone was raised. It is upsetting that while still having to deal with a worldwide pandemic we don't have 300+ dollars to toss out the window for a perfectly working fuel pump, but we did."
