"I am very satisfied with Dr. Henderson. The services previously provided by him were excellent. However I will not be returning to due to the rudeness and unprofessional conduct of the support staff...specifically the front desk staff."

"I have a few complaints. 1) Staff is way too comfortable talking about really personal information. I'm all for being personable but it's a little strange the whole time to hear about extreme details of their personal lives. I'd never really experienced something like that before at a medical office unless we mutually start talking about a topic. 2) I let this slide but I was hung up on several times. Whenever I mentioned it the staff seemed really nervous and just told me that they were having issue with their phone system. 3) This is my biggest issue. I went in April for a routine cleaning but let them know I had a tooth that was causing me horrible pain and whenever the doctor looked he agreed that the chip was starting to expose my nerves. He said he would put in a request to medicaid that day then they'd call to schedule my appt. Well a month goes by with no word so I give them a call. Turns out my request was never put in and they say they'll have the doctor do so. Another few weeks go by and no word. So I call and leave messages (never got call backs). Eventually I call the insurance because surely after 2 months my request has been entered, right? Nope. I call the dentist office back once more and ask them to put it in. It never got done. Luckily I got my PCP to get me an appt with an oral surgeon and my tooth has been extracted now. I just think it's horrible customer service and patient care to be basically ignored for 4+ months and never even called back. Especially after expressing I was in horrible, horrible pain. It was so bad it would wake me up at night. I was super excited because this is the first black dentist I've ever seen in my life (literally like I never see black dentists) with a black staff AND they're super close to my house. Unfortunately, the novelty is 100% worn off and the cons outweigh the pros. I'm never going back."

"Start by saying I paid CASH!!! Got an X-ray for an extraction and didn’t extract the tooth when it’s really not even infected. Explained the pain 3 different times and I was asked 3 different time what kind of medication would I want. Then the Dr writes a prescription for pain medication and antibiotics and the pain meds are bulls***. AGAIN...paid cash!!! If I was gonna be sent away to come back on a later date they could have given me a prescription for pain meds worth my while when I’m paying out of pocket!!!!!"

"I have been going to Henderson Dentisitry since it opened. I love the staff and Dr. Henderson is the most gentle and friendly dentist I have ever met. He is cost conscious for his patients and really cares. I recommend him to everyone!"
