Family Dollar

"I went to family dollar today. The employees are really nice and helpful but they still are out of soooo much. Across the street, Brookshites is fully stocked. It seems to be an issue with the fact that they are short on employees or maybe their trucks don't come in like they should. Their inventory has stayed low for so long, but now it's worse. No deodorant hardly and detergent the shelves in certain areas are bare. Maybe the general management should step in and do something to keep their shelves stocked so people don't waste their time shopping for items they just don't have. I think one star is just for the employees. There's not even a restroom for customers. It's ridiculous."

"The Pines Rd. location ALWAYS have the snacks that I desire. The only thing that I don't like about this location is the floor has spills and piles of trash that they don't sweep up. Now if we're talking about any other location I shop at certain ones to purchase the cleaning supplies that I need."

"These employees love to lock the door early, up to 20 mins before their closing time, which is handwritten & posted clearly in the front door. I've been there at 8:40-8:45pm recently, with it locked and not a soul in sight. A few weeks ago after work, I sat in the parking lot to finish some paperwork with dozens of cars coming/going, then tried to go inside. Much to my surprise, I found the door locked at 7:30p on a weekday. At first I thought OK maybe it was an employee working alone and using the restroom, or perhaps another armed robbery incident like last year when they understandably weren't allowing customers inside. But then suddenly all the outside store & parking lot lights were turned off! Message received, went down to Centenary Blvd location. Ordinarily I might have given a store the benefit of the doubt, like "oh I'm sure their POS computer systems are down" or something. But not with this place... they've consistently shown a clear pattern, one that shows me they don't want my money. I'm not normally one to run tattle to a corporate office, but after their 7:30p unannounced holiday that day I had to tweet @FamilyDollar (my 2nd tweet ever.) So when you just wanna run inside and grab two items real quick and you know it'll take all of 5 mins, better get there before 8:30pm (or 6:30p if they decide it'll be an early-off short day.) Completely unacceptable "

"Once you get inside this location, I usually find the shelves stocked and most the staff are friendly. The staff member I had today was especially friendly and that ,in my opinion goes a long way. I use this location for convenience but there is a closer one but it's a terrible experience everytime. All in all, I'd recommend this location over most."

"I stop in here usually multiple times a week. They have pretty much everything I go in for. Sales all the time and the smart coupons app for family dollar saves you even more! If you look for them they even have some pretty cute clothes and comfy work out clothes (which is a great deal because we all burn thru those pretty quick). Sometimes you have to scoot around the inventory because they are constantly updating and restocking products... But I won't complain because that's why I always find what I need! One time I asked for a specific cleaning product because I can get all my products there and the manager ordered it and keeps it in stock now (world's best glass cleaner in the aerosol can-- it's the best btw) The manager at this location (Robert) is the best! Stop in and boost his sales today!"
