"Our food was good, and so was the service. My issue arose when I attempted eat a serving of the ice cream. The machine was very visibly dirty and had crusted ice cream around the spout area. And as someone who works with ice cream machines at another food location, I was concerned because that kind on buildup only occurs from poor maintenance and irregular cleaning. Despite appearances I tried some of the ice cream, but it tasted off, almost a fermented/ spoiled taste. And I am by no means an ice cream connoisseur, but compared to the location on Dowlen, this ice cream was bad. Sour end to my meal, unfortunately"

"Really neat to finally eat at the original one. The restaurant was clean, being cleaned constantly which is great. The chipotle chicken with avocado was delicious! I especially enjoyed the broccoli cheese soup. They offer a salad bar, which looked appetizing as well. Can't wait to go back. Parking lot is shared by multiple businesses."

"The salad bar is well stocked, clean and always manned. The lady cleaning it has been doing a wonderful job. The staff at the counter were friendly and helpful. The Reuben chicken salad sandwich and broccoli soup were all very good. We visited this location in hopes that the original store would have the original food I grew up having but it’s changed, I really wanted the original bbq sandwich. The chopped bbq now taste like the great value brand at Walmart. The recipe of the potato soup isn’t the same. Would love to see the original BBQ sandwich (cowboy), spud and potato soup come back, they were amazing. The cheaper products are highly acidic and truly taste like something you’d get at Walmart. This is the second Jason we visited in a week, it’s the same at both unfortunately."
