"This Dollar General always has the rudest workers. Women with the dreads, locked the doors at 9:43 and said they were closed. When on the door states they close at 10:00. This isn’t the first time. Worst location in St Charles Parish."
"It was 8:30 PM on a Saturday night the store closed at 10 PM I started calling the store about 830 to ask a question and the phone was constantly busy till closing time. So needless to say my question was not answered I don’t think I’ll be going back to that store terrible employees they look like or act like we are inconveniencing them so I think I’m done with Dollar General."
"This Dollar General in particular will overcharge and rip you off at the register when you checkout! So be very very careful of what the shelf price states and what it actually rings up! Because almost every product in that entire store, rings up a higher price than what the shelf sticker says! They are hoping you are stupid and not paying attention, so they can illegally gouge you at the checkout register!! And when you bring up the price discrepancy to the employees, they cop a bad attitude! So again, be careful what you are actually paying at that Crooked store!!"
"The inside of the store is the total opposite of how it's portrayed on the outside. Lots of nice products, lots of cute clothes to choose from compared to other locations I've been too. And the staff is super friendly & energetic."
"The customer service is almost ALWAYS unpleasant. More than a dozen times customers have had to wait in a long line while there were more than one employee on duty. On one occasion after waiting in line nearly 15 mins I discovered I didn't have my bank card. There were three employees working. I only live two blocks away and I told the cashier ( Dolores ) I had to go get my bank card and would return for almost $200 in merchandise asking they please not put it away I'd be right back. She didn't say she would hold it for me and I saw another employee putting away items that had been left out so instead of just leaving I asked my dad to return with my card and I waited for him while I smoked a cigarette right outside the front door and I told her I was waiting. When I returned to buy the items they had put some of them away. The cashier told me I had to wait in the line again. It them refused my check my card wouldn't work so I had to call the bank. Once again she made me wait in the line and I said I'd just go to the just opened register at which point Dolores tells me I had to wait in that line as well and then wouldn't allow her to open the register because I was in the line and there were nine or more people waiting while the other employee leaned on the unopened register. I recorded the entire thing and showed the assistant manager when I had to exchange two totes because Dolores claimed she could not provide a receipt due to the register being out of paper during the sale. It's possible for a register to reprint and I knew for a fact it could be done told her I could wall her through it but she refused. She was very loud and rude and she was the lead cashier or shift manager she said when I asked for the person in charge. So instead of allowing me to go to the front of the line she refused to pen the second register for anyone and at that point there were eleven people waiting. The general manager never did answer my inquiry. In my experience and my opinion an unhappy customer should be called after such an incident if for no they reason just to apologize and say the matter hag been addressed. I feel the general manager was as much at fault as Dolores in providing extremely terrible customer service. The store lost another $100 in sales because I would have had time to get the money from my bank if she hadn't forced me to get at the end of the line three times. By the time I was able to get to the front of the line the last time, I was only able to purchase those items I had enough cash to buy. If she had allowed me to go ahead and not wait I was going to go to the bank to use my debit card. However after having items put back while waiting out front I knew they wouldn't hold them while I left and went back. She chose to be rude not caring for the store to profit more than she did being in control. The store needs to be in better management obviously if this was the person in charge."
