Crazy Hotpot

"We went here 3 times this month. First time, a karaoke room was rented. A nice private room for our group to eat in up stairs. Cool, but the karaoke equipment was broken and not told to the group. Personally I feel I was so focused on my food and how to eat it I didn't care about the karaoke. I saw the servers coming out the kitchen in a tizzy over what food went where. Our server forgot to give us all the needed utensils till half way thru our meal. 2nd time was better with a group of 4 of us. Had a good server. Very nice. 3rd time server was OK. I really feel the attitude of the staff can permeate a place and that's something this place needs to work on. That being said, I do love coming here for this unique eating experience."

"Like other reviews, I wanted to like this place a lot, but the quality of the food is not worth the price. I wanted to try this place out when they first opened but decided to wait awhile hoping they would get better…but the meat is in a freezer and has lots of ice all over them. The soup bases are bland, and when asked for more Tom yum powder or paste to adjust the flavor, they did not have any and only advised to add vinegar….which we did but still wanted that Tom yum taste. I did like the veggie selection and those appeared to be fresh, but the pictures on the menu for the food to be cooked in the kitchen do not look the same when you receive them so be cautious. I also did not care for it so if I were you, I would pass on those. Service and atmosphere are nice, but I don’t know if I’ll return since there’s other hot pot places that is worth the money."

"Trying a hotpot experience is fun if you’ve never done it before, but this place is overpriced. You also have to know how to add flavor to your pot with the sauces to bring more umph to any of the broths."

"A great place to go with friends on a date or looking for a great time this is the place. The food was great interactive for the hot pot. The BBQ was mind blowing way better than expected. The service was great. The robots bringing the food come on now!!"

"(Eaten on June 18, 2023) I really wanted to love this place since I’m a big fan of hot pot, but I ended up totally disappointed. All of the meats and veggies here were not fresh. I could instantly tell by the look and taste of the food. The broth was really bland as well. Not only that, but everything was also overpriced. I don’t mind paying a lot while going out, but I believe the price should match the quality, and in this case the quality didn’t match the price. The service was also mediocre. We weren’t greeted properly and it felt like they just wanted us to hurry up & leave even though we just arrived to the restaurant. The only thing I will complement is the decorum because the aesthetic ties into unique, popular Asian characters, and we barely see that type of art here in Louisiana, so I’ll give Crazy Hot Pot that credit, but aside from that I wouldn’t recommend coming here. It’s not worth it."
