Reviews of Walmart Neighborhood Market
"Always clean, good customer service, and never a long line."
"I have had a WEIRD experience at this walmart. At first glance, this experience appeared to be normal. I was greeted by a nice man who was tall with glasses and he led me to the tomato sauce he deserves a large raise for excellent customer service. After this, I saw a man who was rude he refused to help me carry my items out to my car which I parked across the street and did not bag my cottage cheese separate from other products even though it was specifically requested. Needless to say I will NOT be coming back here because of this behavior and inability to help customers, especially handicapped ones like me with broken arm and knee leg. FIX IT!"
"I went to this location to grav a total 7 items. I arrived at tye door at 10:44 by my phones clock and the front door was locked. So I went to the exit and the door opened so I went Iand grabbed my items. I went to check out after grabbing my items, and found all the self checkout lanes were closed. There was a cashier checking out another employee, and when finished they carried on their conversation. I was actually browsing the candy in the aisle and didn't realize they were staring at and acting like they weren't gonna check me out. Finally I looked up at them and said hello, and Apologized for the last minute shopping, and she told me "we didn't even know you were in here," then just stared at me while we held this uncomfortable silence. This went on for like 30 seconds, which seems an eternity when awkward silences are shared between strangers, but she blinked first and began scanning my items. As I said, it was 7 items. She stared at me in awkward silence for twice as long as it took her to do her job. Then she told me that it was wrong of me to come in at 10:44, because they have to leave the store at 11:00, and that if I went to a restaurant that closed at 10 that they would stop letting people come in at 930, to which I laughed audibly in her face. Not to be rude, but because I've worked in the service industry off and on my whole life, and there's fewer things more aggravating than the drunk party of 6 who stumbles in 5 minutes before close. We didn't tell those people that we couldn't serve them, or lock the door before closing, because we don't close til 10, and 9:55 isn't 10, no matter how much you wish it were so. We might have cussed them and their makers, and everyone that looked like them in the walk in, but we served them, and gave them good service, and weren't rude to them when they went to leave, because that's life in the service industry. I don't know what I got from Walmart tonight, but it certainly wasn't service. It was rude, disingenuous, and it made me long for a good ol self checkout lane. I think that has to be a first."
"So I just posted this on the Walmart corporate website since no one ever answers the phone and thought I'd share here also..... I did grocery pickup at the neighborhood Walmart in Central on Hooper Rd on Monday. I understand that they hold extra amount for substitutions and I'm alright with it. Usually the charge for the groceries goes through and the money held doesn't post to my account. Well, this time the amount for the groceries ($82) posted to my account and then the amount of the groceries and the hold amount totalling $123 posted to my account. Not pending, but posted as in withdrawn. I called and after listening to the phone ring for 12 minutes I called the number on the sign in the pick up parking spot that I called Monday. The gentleman that answered was polite and understanding and got a manager for me. Brittany is the manager who answered the phone and I was cut off quickly while explaining for her to tell me that she couldn't refund my money. I tried to explain that refunding money had not been a problem before, but was cut off by Brittany again to reiterate that she couldn't refund me. I told her that I understand that the customer is not always but the store is not always right either and that as a manager she did at least owe me the courtesy of hearing me out rather than cutting me off and she laughed at me! She did not show the maturity someone in management should have or at least the decency to hide her laughter. She disrespectfully laughed at me after disrespectfully not allowing me to voice my concerns about the fact that she repeatedly told me that she couldn't refund my money. Walmart is a huge conglomerate making millions off of the hardworking people in this country so I don't know who all will see this post, but I deserve to be treated with respect if I am being respectful, which I was. I absolutely deserve to have my money refunded! Lastly, Walmart, as a whole, not just the one store where this incident happened, needs to own their lack of professionalism and lack of proper training for management position s as well as their accounting errors. I am demanding an apology from Walmart and the manager Brittany who was so rude and disrespectful and that my money be refunded as soon as possible"
"The young lady who brought out my groceries tonight was very polite. She was also fast with bringing out my order. Service with a smile."
