"They replaced the screen on an iPhone and in about 60 days it went black. Phone was still working but screen was black and not responding. Best they would do is a 25% discount on another screen. I will never go back. Not smart on their part because phones are gonna need repairs. Find another shop!"

"I went in one day to get the glass back and front screen of my IPhone 8 Plus fixed, and they gave me a discount of what was supposed to be about 200 but I only paid 175. I was told that same day that they needed my phone overnight because it would take a full day to repair the back glass and front screen of my phone and that it would be ready the next day in the afternoon. They also gave a temporary iPhone 6 Plus which was glitchy and slow but I was glad I wouldn’t be without a phone for a whole day. The next day comes around and it is around 2pm and I still hadn’t received a call, so I called to check on the status of my phone so that I could pick it up after work. The employee then proceeded to tell me that he had to call his boss to check on the status. About 10 minutes later, I get a call saying that my phone was ready and that the “brother” (which is the son of the owner) would be bringing the phone in an hour (which would've been around 3pm) from where ever they took it and back to the store for me to pick it up. I get off work at 4:15pm to go retrieve my phone, (because from my understanding it would’ve sitting and ready for over an hour) but I get there only to find out that apparently the “brother” got the flu and couldn’t finish my phone. Keep in mind that no one even called me to tell me that it wouldn’t be ready at the time they said it would, and I had to call them to get any information. So I then ask the employee why would the “brother” lie and say that he finished my phone and that he was on the way to bring it to the store within an hour, and the employee then proceeded to say, “the brother sometimes lies to get under our skin” At this point I’m convinced that some kind of scamming is going on because first of all they took my phone out of the building to an undisclosed location that I didn’t even know about and secondly, I’m thinking in my head that this is very unprofessional that the owner’s son (which is the “brother”) would lie and say that he finished but never did. I then demanded that the employee call one of the brothers and tell them to bring my phone back ASAP. Once on the phone, his excuse was that he got the flu and couldn’t finish, but that doesn’t explain why he lied and said that he was on the way and that my phone was finished. So I become a little angry and I told him that I didn’t care what his reason was and I wasn’t leaving until he brings my phone and I wanted a refund. I then decided not to worry about and instead I asked for another discount because of the unprofessionalism that I encountered and they then proceeded to give a cheap screen protector. After that I demanded that my phone be fixed today NO EXCEPTIONS, and he told me he would have it done by 8:30. I get there at 8pm to find the employee and the “brother’s” brother sitting down associating. I’m thinking in my head that it’s 8pm and my phone is finished but no one even called to let me know. So then the employee greets me while the other brother just sits there with proud look and doesn’t even acknowledge me or apologize for the lie and unprofessionalism that I encountered. I then confronted him and asked him could I get a better reparation for all that I went through, and he totally dismissed me by saying “sorry there’s nothing else we can do so go now” I then get angry because of how rude they were being and the brother then tells me “it’s not that serious man, it’s not that serious” IT’S VERY SERIOUS when you lie to a customer about their personal item that holds very sensitive information. After I called them out about how sketchy they were, they then tried to demand me out of the building and continued to be rude because they knew what that were doing and there’s definitely some sketchy business going in that establishment. PLEASE BEWARE AND DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO KEEP YOUR PHONE OVER NIGHT. THEY ARE VERY SKETCHY AND I WOULDN’T DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM IF I WERE YOU GUYS!!!!!"

"My iPhone 7 started buzzing loudly on vibrate and I stopped by I Repair Gadgets at Tanger to see if they could fix it. In less than 10 minutes he was able to identify and fix the cause of the buzzing - loose screws on the Taptic Engine - and I’m out the door and on my way!! I HIGHLY recommend this shop for all of your phone and gadget repair needs! Plus they have tons of phone accessories, battery powered toys, and VR gear in the store. Couldn’t ask for better service!!"

"Took an iPhone7 in with nothing wrong with it other than a cracked screen to get the screen fixed. Screen was fixed, but the phone would not take a charge past 3%. We were passing through on our trip home and we’re an hour out when we realized the phone wouldn’t charge. We called and they offered to fix it and gave a confusing explanation for us to get the phone to charge again — that didn’t help. So now we took it to a trusted friend at a different shop who says the phone is past repair now. This repair store in Tanger Outlets Gonzales basically destroyed a perfect working order iPhone7. DO NOT USE THEM!!"

"I explained to the owner that I've been to a repair shop before my screen was not flush it was lifting off the device I was not happy with it at all. He assured me that his repair would be perfect and "OEM" and even showed me a device he claimed he did and it looked perfect. I picked up the device the next day and it looked exactly like I should have expected with the screen lifting off the device! I was told there's nothing I can do about it that the repair is good and reasons why the screen is the way it is.. Live and learn.. I will never go back to another cheap repair shop I will pay the extra to have apple do it perfect with actual oem parts. If you dont mind a screen feels like plastic, has a gap all around the device which will allow dirt and water right in and really ruin it beyond repair. I would recommend this place. Or you can spend a couple extra dollars and get your expensive device properly fixed by apple. Most frustrating part is he knew very well the screen would be lifted like that and could have been honest with me and let me go spend the money to do it right. Now I'm stuck with a poor repair and have to eat the $90 on top of what I will pay to get it done right."
