"I was having knee issues several years ago after I started jogging. Everyone kept telling me to get some “good” shoes. But how could shoes help my knee, I thought….. boy was I wrong!! I went in to GR and was fitted by a nice guy who was very kind and knowledgeable. Because I know that my body can change as I get older, (even my feet) when a new issues comes up…. I go have my feet rechecked and resized and sometimes I have to wear a different shoe brand or model or different size, after about a year or so, but the Geaux Run team know exactly how to help. And if I have any issues at all they offer 30 days to return for refund or exchange for a different size or model… I can’t beat that! So glad we found this little gem of a store!"

"The older man (I’m assuming the owner) measured my feet incorrectly causing pain in my knees. He sold me shoes and insoles that were a size too big. I brought this to his attention the day I purchased the shoes and he assured me that I was properly fitted. He told me I had been wearing the wrong size all this time. After going to my doctor with complaints of knee pain which required an MRI, I returned to the store and my feet were measured by another employee. She told me my actual shoe size was a size smaller than what he sold me. I requested a discount on a new pair, but instead of offering me a decent discount to retain me as a customer, he offered me 10% off. Needless to say, I will never return to that store. After reading other reviews, I’m starting to feel like this establishment may be racist. I wonder if the franchise is aware of this behavior. I usually go to Tri Running on Johnston street, and I never had a problem. A friend recommended this place. Go to Tri Running. They are friendly, professional and really appreciate your business."

"I can't believe my doctor told me about this business. I almost decided not to go, but I decided that it would be okay to look. I am happy I did. The man who assisted me was really knowledgable and helpful. I gained more knowledge about my own feet and the ideal shoe fit in 15 minutes than I knew in 43 years of walking in my own shoes, they took a digital scan, and within minutes I was fitted. Even though I have a size 15 foot and am a big man, I'm used to just barely getting by with things that never quite fit right. I bought a new pair of shoes from this shop, and they stayed on my feet. I never imagined I'd find something this wonderful, but the comfort and fit were excellent. I went into the store not expecting they would have anything for me and left a customer for life."
