"This has to be the worse family dollar I have ever come too. Horrible staff. I know why now every time I pass it the parking lot only has thr employees vehicles parked there this hands down is the worse store in Shreveport. They should shut this location down immediately."
"A great visit today!! Around 9:30, I was the only customer the newly remodeled store. It looks great, good lighting, with so many varieties. I haven't been there for almost two years, it used to have a foul smell, the items I purchased, at the time, had that same smell when I got the home, not pleased at all. It's a new look the employees were friendly, smiling, courteous, busy bumblebees! I totally enjoyed my visit today and I'm definitely going back!!"
"Friendly store certain employees are very sweet in humble. Certain ones do not say nothing at all. Most of the time items are not place in the right place meaning if its on a $2.50 rack are less its wrong because at the registrar its a little more thats the only problem I have. Beside that it's a great place to shop at.."
"The reason for the low rating for this particular store is that I often dislike how the employees are just so dry. There's no smiles, no considerable service, but rather as if these miserable employees just don't know how to NOT act like emotionless robots. I remember one time just a few months ago, I was asking an employee about a particular type of chips I was looking for, Which are the Wise Cheez Doodles: Hot & Honey. They taste amazing and I have only found them in Family Dollar stores. She made no attempt at first to even try to understand what bag of chips I was talking about. I was just about to leave until she said something else, probably realizing her lack of customer service was truly uncalled for. It wasn't just that time. There have been at least two other employees like this. Luckily there have been a few there that actually make you feel welcomed, but when it comes to little discounts stores like these, I wish management would do better in the type of people they hire. One other thing I hate about this particular Family Dollar is the never-ending money beggars that hang around that store. It's always the so-called cause for the church. This woman would sell cookies in these ziplock bags, but when trying to ask for information about the church, she couldn't really explain the information. I had offered to give money to the church directly, but she refused. Another time I was being ganged up by these elementary kids asking for money. There was no adult nearby, but when I handed over a dollar to the boy, he snatched it out of my hand without a thank you, and that's when I knew I had just been ripped off by the little future thug. One other thing is the stinginess and lack of shopping carts provided. At first, the carts had these long sticks attached to where you could not remove them from the store. And I understand how some ghetto and inconsiderate people would just steal them and then abandoned them a block away, but there's hardly any shopping carts there."
