"Hey Pie Man, I’ve been living in Dallas for some time now but I had to come show love because you used to come to my hair salon all the way in the East every Saturday at 11am sharp selling us your pies and gumbo and red beans, it was absolutely delicious and some of my best memories! Glad to see you still thriving and selling your delicious food to the city!!!"

"Since Hurricane Katrina I've been in Atlanta but every time I go back home to New Orleans I have to stop to get some gumbo from the Real Pie Man. There is no other that compares. Everything else they serve is good too especially the pasta."
