"I ordered a lamb kebab which, disappointingly, was served cold (as if it had been cooked an hour ago) and lacked flavor. The seating arrangement was also quite inconvenient. It was apparent that the restaurant aimed to fit as many tables as possible, resulting in a cramped space. My chair was just inches away from the person seated behind me, which made for an uncomfortable dining experience."

"I wanted to try this Byblos location because the menu is more extensive than the location closest to me. Upon entering, we were told to sit wherever we’d like (which was nice). Service pretty good but the overall environment was dull. Also, the dishes looked dingy and my veggies were in a cracked bowl. We started with the stuff grapes leaves and they were pretty good! I had the redfish entree (bland). The veggies were good, but I didn’t feel comfortable eating anything that was placed on the cracked portion of the dish. The other guest had a beef gyro and the meat could have used more seasoning. The entire experience was average at best."

"Fantastic service, great decor/ambiance. They were open for a very late lunch on Sunday, Jan 1, saving my new years day! The Caesar salad was perfect and the gyros was delicious."

"Pure honey of a place nestled into the heart of old Metairie! Our neighbor suggested the burgers, she likes the quality of the beef. It is true the ingredients are quality selections and the recipes quite delicious. Each dish is well thought out and the locals all crave the friendly service. One of the few old school restaurants that doesn’t show its age and has stayed in the hearts of the locals for good reason."

"5-stars for friendly excellent service, cleanliness and atmosphere. 3.5-stars for food when compared to my home town (HTWN) favorite Med restaurant (Kasra). Lamb kebab was above average. Hummus and Nan bread was average."
