"DO NOT BUT FROM THIS STORE. My experiences with dirt cheap have so far been good, however I mainly shopped at the Pensacola location who is grades above this Lafayette store. Tonight I bought a vacuum I thoroughly checked, I did everything BUT take it all out and sort it bc it was taped as tho never opened. Big mistake- I got home to unpack it and there was only 2 pieces of the ENTIRE vacuum. I only paid $9 under retail value for it, so you can imagine how upset I am. I'll be back in the am to see if they will correct their scandalous deceitful scam and if not, I'll be taking further action. This is absurd! Nobody is going to pay less than $10 under retail market value for 2 pieces of plastic that have no use. Their out of their damn minds scamming ppl like this. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE- AMBASSADOR CAFFERY LOCATION. Pensacola is amazing and I've never had 1 issue with them, so it's not all of them. Just this particular store is complete trash. UPDATE- I went back and the manager refused to even check for the missing parts. I'll be fronting the money and taking them to small claims Court and they'll end up paying for this and some. I'm gonna do it for the ppl that can't afford to and got scammed by them. Goodwill doesn't even do this and they sell items for next to nothing. Also I double checked my receipt and it wasn't $9 under retail, it WAS RETAIL PRICE THAT I PAID, same price as I could've gotten it buying new directly from dirt devils website and it would've come with a manufacturer warranty. The past can't even be ordered so I asked them to check the back for the missing parts and she refused. So BEWARE THESE PPL WILL SCAM YOU. They WILL FOLLOW YOU AROUND IF YOU CHECK THEIR ITEMS AND TREAT YOU LIKE YOUR STEALING, ONLY TO SCAM YOU WHEN YOU DON'T RIP ALL THE TAKE UP TO OPEN SOMETHING FULLY AND CHECK IT."

"I'm a regular customer and I've been going to this Dirt cheap since years but today I've had the worst experience ever. The Black girl working at the cash register today at 8.30pm was soo rude and disrespectful. I asked her to double check the price of an item, she flat-out refused and went so far as to call me "stupid." You guys better care about your business and stop hiring trashy people. I'll never go back to this location."

"Carts act like they went through a bad day of roller derby. Some things are a great deal. Like the curtains my daughter bought. Some things like the crushed candle... not so good. But hunting for the big find is fun. You need hand sanitizer when your done."

"I’ve gone here a few times. I’ve also been to the Dirt Cheap in Baton Rouge; I think this one is better. They are constantly getting new things in. They just recently got A HUGE shipment in. They are still unloading more stuff. They’ve gotten in more furniture. A lot more video games. A lot more clothes, especially for men. Most of their stuff are Target brands, which is always nice."
