"No staffing to get help. Searching for a compass and the only kind they offered were a tiny match bookwith a dial and a miniature version both items not usable in an outdoor navigation setting requiring setting azimuths. Needed a boyscout compass."

"Manager was rude , didn’t even try helping me return batteries and would not exchange them . I bought the batteries in June 2023 , I didn’t have my receipt but all the stickers and bar codes were still on the batteries! I will not shop anywhere that treats there customers in that manner !"

"I would not encourage anyone to work for this company. All they care about is money. They do not treat their hard working employees good at all. They will tell you everything you’re doing wrong before they tell you what you’re doing great at.I have never on my life worked for a company like this. Long as you’re getting credit cards you’re fine. Poor management and absolutely no communication at all. They will tell you one thing one day and the next it’s totally differnt then question you why you did that it’s just really bad company to work for . That’s just my opinion."

"Stopped by so my wife could make a few purchases. Store is always neat and clean but the service can be terrible. We stood at the gun display and counter for about 15-20 minutes with an employee standing about 10 feet away; employee never engaged or said anything. When my wife found what she wanted, the lady seemed not interested in assisting with the purchase. When we did the paperwork, she told us it would be a few hours to get a response back so we went to eat. We didn't come back that evening, so my wife stopped by the very next day. The lady was there again & said the process would have to start over since we didn't return. She never said we had to or not return the same day. In the end, my wife made her purchase at the other Academy in Shreveport."
