"I and my family were all quite disappointed in our stay at this hotel. Upon checking in we were greeted with signs saying they do not have breakfast. As I inquired about the situation, I was told that they are eliminating breakfast, but the web-site (along with all other ads and promos at the front desk apparently) have not been updated. They offered no other alternatives or compensation. Once we got to the rooms we found paint splatter all over the chairs, desk, carpet, and head-boards. The entirety of the hotel looked as if it were in various states of renovation, but they seemed to be allowing the guests to stay in the rooms regardless of where they are in the process. The next morning we got up and started to shower to start the day. We then discovered that the bathroom exhaust fans we not operational and the windows could not be opened which lead to some very humid rooms. Further, the bath drain in one of our rooms was clogged up and draining quite slowly. This forced you to stand in the bath water of the person that showered previously. I stopped by the front desk to inform them of the issues with our room, and the were, apparently, aware that the exhaust fans were not working as they were not hooked up. They seemed unfazed by the paint splatter and slow drain letting me know that they will let the maintenance staff know about it, but they are remodeling so there wasn't much they could do. The cherry on the sundae came on Sunday morning as we were getting ready to check out and the fire alarm went off. My family and I made our way down to the exit and stood outside as we saw hotel staff walking around the lobby offering no direction or explanation. They finally told us it was a false alarm, again offering no explanation or apology. Upon checking out a few hours later no attempt to compensate for or rectify the poor experience was suggested. I have rarely been as disappointed in an experience as I was with my stay at the La Quinta Inn in Leesville/Ft. Polk/Ft. Johnson"
"Went to visit our son during his stay for the Army at the near by post, this property was clean, safe and the staff was kind and helpful! The lobby was decorated with festival items that made it feel so comfortable. It’s located right near post main gate, near Walmart and many other stores and food places will definitely recommend!"
"Subject: Urgent Concerns Regarding Facility Conditions at Wyndham Property Dear Corporate Members of Wyndham, I am writing to bring to your attention some serious concerns regarding the current state of one of your properties. The conditions at the facility in question are, unfortunately, are no where near satisfactory. Observations of extreme uncleanliness, damaged ceilings, filthy rooms, and pervasive mold growth (pictures attached) throughout the premises have raised significant alarm. This not only compromises the overall quality of guest experience but also poses serious health hazard. In light of these issues, it is my sincere hope that immediate attention and remedial action will be taken to address these concerns comprehensively. Your commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety is crucial for the well-being of guests and the reputation of the Wyndham brand. "Tina should be promoted for her level of customer service and thoroughness. She went above her duties to make our stay the best that it could. Unfortunately we had to move to be closer to our response area to cover new wildfires. If you're going to advertise online that you offer breakfast then offer something"
"I stay in hotels 5 days a week, with that said this was the dirtiest place I have ever had to endure. Pipes in the wall were making a loud horn noise all day and all night. After not being able to take it 3 days in and exhausted from lack of sleep they changed my room. Guess what the 2nd room had a defective smoke detector that made a screeching chirp every 30 seconds. Let them know the next morning and was told that they had not had a maintenance man all week so she didn't know what to tell me. They continue to advertise breakfast online and on billboards and no breakfast or even vending machines. The housekeeping staff was wonderful but the people at the front desk are the rudest individuals that I have ever dealt with (especially the older white man that works desk) took an hour to check in because he could not operate a printer. He took out his anger caused by his ignorance on his customers."
