"This happened at 9:28 am - 9:36 am on 9/2/23. I called in to look for a 50 amp GE breaker since this place is the only hardware store store within 45 minutes of where I'm at. He put me on hold while he dealt with a customer, which is completely understandable. After which I told him what I was looking for and he went to go look for it. He can back asking if I was looking for a 115 amp breaker, I said, "No, I need a 50 amp GE breaker. FIVE-ZERO. I need a 50 amp GE breaker, as in FIVE-ZERO." He said okay and said he would go check. About 30-60 seconds later the phone was hung up. I called back hoping it was an accident, and a woman answered this time. I said, "I was just talking to some guy that was supposed to be looking for a breaker for me. He hung up the phone either intentionally or unintentionally." A guy then took the phone phone her and said something along the lines of "I got it." About 15-30 seconds later the phone was hung up again. I went to a different hardware store and got what I needed. I will never step foot in this store if that's the type of employees this business employs. I'm a licensed electrician for reference."

"Pats is hit and miss when it comes to getting help finding what you need. It truly depends on who is working. They have most of what you need, but you will pay more than other hardware stores the next town over. That said I'm not a big fan of walking down every aisle to find what I need and I expect help when I go to a place like this, especially with the premium prices. Don't bother to go here for paint. Save your time and go to a bigger store. I've tried on 2 different occasions to get a color mixed and they have not had the correct base (and can't mix it with another base). This was on colors they have in their paint swatch selection, so it's not like it was some random color I brought in. At this point I treat Pats like I treat Dollar General. It's a last minute trip of last resort."
