"We ordered the fried dumplings which were amazing! Then we placed an order of the spicy fried chicken and a side of spicy shrimp lomein. Everything was absolutely delicious and had the perfect amount of spice. The server was extremely kind and helpful. I hope this family owned gem continues to thrive. 10/10 would recommend and will be back in the future!"
"This place is clearly family owned, which is so sweet. Last time we visited, the owner was helping his granddaughter with homework in the dining room. I love the homey feel. The One food is INCREDIBLE! Truly do not hesitate to visit Spicy House. I wish it was closer to downtown. The Dan Dan noodles and wontons are so damn good. I wish the spicy fried fish had less breading but that’s my one (small) complaint."
"Such a friendly server and she gave us great recommendations. We enjoyed all of the food immensely, I will definitely be back to eat the cold spicy sesame noodles again."
"I'm so excited that there's finally an AUTHENTIC Chinese restaurant in Lafayette, and I can't wait to go back. Everything was so flavorful and delicious - definitely spicy but I love that! The dumplings in chili oil and scallion pancakes were the best I've had since living in Chinatown NYC. For mains, the cumin beef was heavenly. My only complaint is that the laziji/spicy chicken was too breaded ("popcorn" style) instead of deep fried which is the traditional way. The place is pretty small - we came for Sunday lunch and luckily managed to snag a table but I can see having to wait at busier times."
"Food was amazing! Friendly atmosphere, both Ms. Mandy and Mr.Jabez helped me decide which to get. and they can make it real spicy for all the spicy food lovers. Over all 10/10 much try again"
