Broaddus Burgers

"Great burger! Finally, a burger joint that forms their own patties with REAL beef. No premade frozen patties like most places. Staff is good. I don't know how I feel about ordering at the counter and getting condiments and drinks yourself. But not a big trade off. Just happy about the deliciousness!"

"I absolutely love Broaddus Burger, especially since they’ve open the Congress location. The food is always fresh, delicious, and nicely portioned. The service is impeccable, they’re polite and friendly. It’s always nice to see Shawn, the owner, in his establishment checking on his patrons as well as his employees. I love that on certain nights they’ll do trivia, bingo, and other funny actives.. Broaddus also offers specials occasionally outside of your typical burger, hotdogs, etc. I am so glad that Broaddus is becoming a staple in Lafayette and would recommend to anyone that they try it out."

"I tried to call to place an order no one answered. It wasn't busy when I decided to go & order myself. Waited 20 mins for 2 freshly made burgers, but the fries were cold & not what I wanted. They do offer military discount though lol"

"I haven't had Broaddus Burgers since the beginning on Moss Street at the old Sonic, so it was so good to have one open up near my house. It's been so packed since opening and I had to stop on in. Went over the menu at work on their website but the text was pretty small so I couldn't really read it, but once I got there it was plenty of menus by the door so I quickly went over in line. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable with questions I had. I got the stuffed burger with fries also my sister in law got the same thing. Only reason I say this is because she cut into and her burger looked amazing stuffed with pepperjack cheese and oozing everywhere. I cut into my burger and it's nothing.... The owner did come over and said it might've leak out but there was no cheese at all in the plate, but he did make another and I can say it was perfect then. One thing I will say is the patties aren't seasoned so I suggest building your burger with the spicy patty (which I'll try next time). Overall the experience was good and you can tell they're ironing out the kinks and everything is just not flowing just right as of yet, so I won't hold any of that against them. I will be back again."
