"I stop in about once a month typically on Saturdays to grab donuts and kolaches for my family that live in Houghton… I usually pick up a dozen kolaches half hot and spicy half regular a dozen glazed donuts and then let the folks at star donuts pick me and assorted dozen and get three chocolate milks foods always good they’re very polite and very efficient and I would recommend them for any of your donut or kolaches needs."

"This place has been my go-to for donuts for a while. They’re amazing!! Some of the best donuts I’ve had and they remind me of the delicious donuts from my childhood, perfectly fluffy and sweet. kolaches are a hit too. The people are also sooo nice and even remember our order most of the time. I love to support them and I highly recommend going here!"

"I'm sure some people will disagree with me on this one. But, I've been to this donut shop twice and felt very unwelcome. No greeting or any other friendly gesture. The first time I just chalked it up to them having a bad day and ordered donuts anyway. They weren't terrible. But weren't really good either. For the price and the lack of friendliness, I would rather just grab some donuts from the grocery store. Which is exactly what I did when I got the same treatment giving them a second try. Maybe others have had a better go of it. But I'm not giving them a third chance."
