"All time favorite Mexican restaurant in town. Celebrated my birthday here and the staff was very nice and friendly! On some nights they have live music. We went on a Wednesday and the singer was pretty good. Ordered the shrimp fajitas. My only complaint is that the shrimp doesn’t come peeled so I typically spend 5-10 mins peeling the shrimp and getting messy. As for margaritas, the top-shelf on the rocks is the superior choice!"

"Our monthly lunch bunch switched to a happy hour for December and we met up at Superior Mid-City. This location (the original) is awesome and even when they are packed, we managed to get a table. I love that they offer the burrito bowls now, which are a perfect amount of their tasty food! The margaritas are always on point and we had a wonderful time catching up! Great location, great food."

"Very friendly staff, polite and well mannered. Lots of selection for food, extensive specials list. The quality of the food is fantastic, with superb quantities for the price. The only issue I had was worry about my drink spilling because the table cloth is covering a soft table surface, but I was of two minds on that component because I enjoyed the soft surface for resting my wrists on it, so the worry about spilling wasn't that high. And, since nothing spilled, then the fears weren't realized."

"I could eat here everyday!! I highly recommend the crazy javier on the lunch menu. Also, If you have the opportunity to stop in for brunch from 9-2 on the weekends you won’t be disappointed. The breakfast tacos and the all american breakfast is absolutely delicious!!"
