Izzo's Illegal Burrito - Citiplace 6220 Corporate Boulevard, Baton Rouge, LA 70809

"I place my order online and every single time I arrive to pick up my food I have to literally wait 15-20 additional minutes for them to make my food! I even wait 30 minutes before I come to give them more than the 15 minutes they say it’ll be ready!!! This is really ridiculous! Once before a manager came to the window and without even asking my name, she said you food is not done! The service is so much more poorer than my first visits to Izzos! This is sad! I have been a fan of Izzo’s for quite some times. I’ve ordered for staff meetings, purchased gift cards and have spent my fair share of funds here too!! Somebody needs to see what’s going on! My god"

"Not sure what happened to this location, but it’s clear that it’s been somewhat abandoned. It’s unclean, the ingredients do not look fresh, and it seems to be understaffed. I just left and I feel disgusted. The floor and the line were filthy. There was only one person working (he was nice and hard working to make sure everyone had their food). How can one person keep up with the cleaning duties while answering the phones and helping customers? I know that there’s been a staffing issues everywhere, but the restaurant was so disgusting that Izzo’s should be embarrassed."

"The lady that was making our food was amazing, she has good memory and is calm when she is preparing food. The gentleman she was working with that rung us up was very personable and friendly. The food was very tasty and we enjoyed eating in the restaurant. I love their mushroom veggie burritos!"

"Would give it zero stars if I could. We purchased a burrito and a salad to go on a Sunday for lunch and literally had to throw away our lunches when we got home. The food was Inedible. I can barely describe how unpleasant it was to try to eat the soggy wet lettuce and dried-out chicken. The chicken was so dry we couldn't even chew it. My son couldn't eat his burrito - it was dried out, flavorless and, just to make the experience even more gross, it had a hair in it. I can't believe this place is in business - we will never go there again."

"Excellent flavor for the food, if on the pricey side. I wouldn't go here for a large portion size for small price fare, but for the price you do get a good sized burrito. One of my coworkers described it as the Subway of burrito places and that is definitely the best way to describe it. This is your typical fast food chain restaurant type feel, so not where I would take someone on a special date night but it definitely works for a regular lunch spot for a couple, or a get to know someone date place. It isn't overly loud, they have good music, and are in a decent location."
