"Nice atmosphere, Lisa the slot supervisor is super, super nice/professional, James in security very knowledgeable/hospitable, and several dealers are really good. Main focus you should have is the 24 hr food bar as promised. You have to pay personnel to work overnight and we all know the money is available."
"Visited last Sunday morning. Beautiful, clean property with lux decor. Great gaming choices. Lots of fun. Cocktail service the first time we went was fantastic but the second time there wasn't a cocktail server in the building (or any orange juice! so no mimosas this time ☹️). The bartender in LIT was great and did his best to take care of everyone. He is a super star for sure! We really had a great time and will definitely be back!"
"I’m a Diamond player and I’m am horribly disappointed in the treatment I have received from this casino. There are only a skeleton crew at night. Bar steeped with dirty ashtrays, only one bartender for the entire casino, maybe two, but more often only one waitress covering the entire casino floor, no draft beer since they opened, filthy floors with sticky carpet, and the reopening of the casino hasn’t even been a year old. Slot machines “out of service” week after week. I told a General Manager, but I guess it fell on deaf ears. It appears that late evenings you will meet dozens of homeless people that sleep there regularly. I achieved Diamond Player level and I was assigned a casino host, that assured me better treatment and service. I’ve not received any of their promised service, benefits or direct contact as was explained I would “now” be receiving. I was personally told by a top management person I would receive a $100 food credit, never received it. I was told I was on a vip guest list for 2 people for a Super Bowl event. When we arrived the hostess at the 1717 restaurant informed me it was over (it was the beginning of 3rd quarter of the game) I requested to go in and watch the game from the Bar. She told me “no” I was not even allowed to sit at the restaurant’s bar to watch the remaining 2 quarter's of the Super Bowl (I told her I would pay out of pocket for our own drinks) There were 3 other couples sitting in the same restaurant, at tables, watching the game. One other occasion, a female security personnel refused me entrance and told me that I would have to go home and change outfits as my jeans and mohair sweater did not meet the dress code, because as I was removing my coat all of maybe 2” of my stomach was showing. Yet every-time I’ve spent money in that casino there are numerous scanty dressed women in “daisy dukes” “see through “micro mini” skirts and dresses, you name it, you see it being worn there. But this black security personnel decided she didn’t feel my sweater and jeans did not pass the dress-code policy. As much as I dislike saying it, I honestly don’t feel as an older White Caucasian woman, that I’m welcomed at The Queen. I’ve always treated every employee with respect and kindness and tip very well (that is when I do get service, which is hit or miss) the cage cashiers, waitresses, bartenders, and the payout staff when I’ve received “hand pays” are “always” tipped and thanked by me. But I have never ever felt so discriminated towards as I have been treated when gambling at The Queen Casino Baton Rouge. I had high hopes for the Queen since I live in Mid City, as my easy to drive to casino. But I guess it is going to be back to the La Berge’ Casino across town. So disappointing! @TheQueenCasinoBR_player_discrimination @TheQueenCasinoBR_runningdownhill_fast"
"We attended a Mardi gras Ball. The atmosphere was amazing. The view of the Mississippi River as a backdrop, upbeat music to dance, good food and people."
"I had a great time at The Queen as I always do. I actually won a nice amount, was very pleased!!!! It has become my new little get away. The food is also very good. I took my son for his birthday, we ate and played for a while. Had a blast!"
