Texas de Brazil - Baton Rouge

"Me and my boyfriend decided to get take out to celebrate Valentines day. When we got home and looked at our food both of our steaks were pretty rare. For context I got a medium and he got medium rare and both of our steaks weren't cooked right and looked rare. This is how my steak looked even after I put it on the pan for a few minutes and I ordered a medium. I've always been a fan of Texas de Brazil so I'm a bit disappointed. The cheesecake and the bananas were good, but overall I think the food could have been a lot better and they really messed up our steaks."

"Probably the best salad bar I’ve been to. Tons of options and everything was excellent. Definitely seemed to be skipping our table with the meats. For the $55 we paid for my girl to get unlimited meat, they need to be bugging us with meat options. Seems like they wait until you’ve been there a bit before bringing the nicer meats. Server even came and asked my girl if everything was fine. My girl said barely seeing any meat. Server asked what were you looking for. My girl said what do you have? She hadn’t see more than half of the meats the server mentioned. This was after at least 30 minutes of being there. Salad bar is worth it for sure, not sure the meat price is worth it."

"Went on new years eve and had a great time! Typical Brazilian steakhouse but the lobster bisque was INSANE! I could drink that. Salad bar was well-stocked and service was good. Definitely worth the price, but really more of a special occasion place."

"This is an all you can eat restaurant and is somewhat upscale. If you decide to dine in I suggest dressing semi formal (Bring a jacket it’s cold). First you start with the salad bar where there are a variety of ingredients you can choose to customize your salad with. There is also a selection of soups to choose from, my friend highly recommends the lobster bisque. There will be a card placed on your table for each guest. When you are ready for your main course you fill the card from red to green. That’s when servers will come to your table with a wide selection of premium meats. The meats range from filet migno, flank steak, lamb, chicken, sausage, etc. There are no menus and you do not get to choose your sides. You will be given two sides of the restaurants choosing. Personally I loved it and I can’t wait to go back!!"

"First Time Visit 07/01/23 We Made a Reservation Arrived Waited for about 5 minutes to be seated. We were seated by an awesome waiter. All of the meats that were served were delicious,hot, and seasoned. A couple of things I wasn't happy about they had no French fries, the utensils were on the bare table, and the tables were kinda close. The water tasted like Tap water. I was not impressed w/ my cocktail. But Overall I really enjoyed my experience and my dinner. Will definitely revisit. For 2 adults w/ cocktails we paid about $150"
