Reviews
"Was extremely disappointed. Gumbo was practically thin gravy with sausages and huge pieces of chicken, not shredded. Potato salad was nothing more than mashed potatoes. Lacked flavor and seasonings. For the amount spent here, I could purchased ingredients, having made my own Gumbo for my family. With it being my first time, it will unfortunately be the last. Had high hopes, but this just did not make the cut."
"Servers were very friendly, and helpful. Restaurant was clean and neat. Food was very good. My group had seafood gumbo, pork pastalaya, and sides. Everything was a good temp, and flavor was great."
"The catfish plate with 2 sides and a roll is my favorite. The catfish are whole filets, so portions are generous, and I was able to make 2 meals out of mine. I love that you can self serve your own fountain drink, as refills are free. They also have bottled drinks, if you prefer those. There are tvs, but they weren't on. The staff is amazing and friendly. They offer multiple seating options: tables with regular or tall chairs, partial booth, and bar seating at the window. There is a drive thru on the side if you don't want to go inside. I had a lovely and enjoyable dining experience. Also, it's family friendly, as they have highchairs available. As for handicapped accessibility: handicapped parking in front, no curb to step up."
"Boudin tasted like it was microwaved. My crawfish pie lacked crawfish and crawfish flavor. The service was good the store is nice. The food I ate does not have me wanting to try anything else. $3.99 for 1 link of pork boudin seams expensive to me."
"Service was great. They give a 35% military discount Food was just ok. The fried swai and crawfish mini pies was delicious. I almost brought a couple more of the crawfish mini pies. Highly recommend if you eat here. I also had seafood gumbo and red beans and rice. The portions size was great. However there was very little season. I would not recommend getting these items. The restaurant was clean a d quiet"
