"Comfy atmosphere, attentive service, prices reasonable, food came out quickly, plenty of seating, great menu options, clean restrooms. Only reason it got 4/5 is, my personal opinion, just a tad heavy on the salt. Others may like it."

"I am a Westbanker and have been going to Scholls since it was originally the Log Cabin. Always feel at home , staff work hard, everyone talks to everyone. The daily specials are a working person friendly and the food consistently taste the same every time and it is good. You can watch the Saints, LSU, and Tulane play football while you eat and socialize."

"I wish I had taken a picture of the horrible breakfast that we were served this morning. Just my opinion, but it was really bad. Horrible, overcooked scrambled eggs, very generic type of Hashbrowns, and horrible bacon. Overall, it was just horrible, in my opinion. The Mcdonalds Breakfast Platter for example would have tasted far better. Really wish we had gone to Joe's Cafe & Donuts in Westwego (which has an amazing breakfast, and very friendly staff) though, instead of trying this place out. And, these Country people are not the friendliest. Typical country people, who give you looks, but do not smile or say hello. Waitress was a typical country person too, with a country attitude. Seems most times I try out a new place that I have never been too, I am disappointed. Very sorry for the bad review. I imagine all of you Country types out there would fit right in, and be happy with the food though."

"My parents have been coming to this place and bringing me to this place since I was a baby. However, it's always been dingy, outdated, and some of the staff are really rude and will make it very apparent that they don't want to be there. Otherwise, the food is decent at best, the only thing on the menu I thoroughly enjoy is their po-boys... But that's hard to mess up in the south. Yet as much as I don't like this place, it has a great nostalgia for me, and that's definitely the biggest thing they've got going for them since most of their customers are regulars."
