"I have frequented Mosca’s for over 50 years! The original family is still the owner. This is a true gem - one of a kind restaurant and experience that you will always remember. Try the filet steak, superior to any steakhouse, trust me! (Bring cash- no credit cards accepted) Great place for a large party!"
"Came down to New Orleans from Boston for a long weekend. My wife had done a lot of research and Mosca's was one of the restaurants she found. We were not disappointed. Different than the Northern Italian we're used to but delicious. Generous portions and LOTS of garlic! The wait staff share all the tables so you'll have a variety of servers taking care of you. All very nice and friendly. We traveled with some friends so we had a lot of food to share. The restaurant itself was very unassuming, but don't let that discourage you from going. They don't accept credit cards, so make sure you bring cash."
"They absolutely live up to the hype! We got the Oysters Mosca and Spaghetti Bordelaise and the two of us couldn’t finish it all. We also tried the pineapple fluff and while it wasn’t our thing, I would still suggest trying it."
"I wish I could give Mosca's more than 5 stars. Very small place but the food is fantastic. First heard about this place on the show "Somebody Feed Phil". It was talked about very highly on the show, and boy were they were right! Edit: to elaborate on another review about driving 100, no 500, miles, I'll agree 1,000%. We drove about 140 miles for my birthday, and were already planning our next trip. This is going to be a regular trip for us for now on. We just finished our leftovers from last night and I'm wishing we were sitting there as I'm writing this. We're hooked!!"
"We called the Wednesday before to reserve what was the last available time-slot on the following Saturday night. They called us back the night before our reservation to confirm (Nice). It resulted in a late dinner, ~9:30, but every bit of the experience was worth the wait! Our party of 4 (a 5th backed out at the last minute) really enjoyed sharing spaghetti Bordelaise, oysters Mosca, spaghetti & meatballs, sausage Johnny and chicken Cacciatore with the house bread and a bottle of Moscato. Everything was so delicious and we all agreed that the Italian sausage and potatoes were the best we'd ever had. Kind of a hike from NOLA/French Quarter, but very much worth the small effort. We were all very pleased with our experience!"
