"Me and my daughter came here today at the tanger outlet in Gonzales to purchase a great bit of clothing we weren’t greeted nor asked if we needed help with anything they were huddling behind the counter and one walking up and down I politely told my daughter let’s go I don’t need to spend my money here the vibe was so off we felt uncomfortable"

"I was racially profiled on 1-3-22 the minute I entered the store. I inquired about returning a pair of pants which I had lost the receipt. Without looking at my purchase the manager (surrounded by all the sales associates at the front counter who had been previously chatting) looked me up and down and told me she couldn't do anything for me without the receipt, which was a lie that I discovered later. I was dressed in sweats and had my hair braided. I walked around the store looking for the turtlenecks I wanted to exchange the pants for. I noticed the fitting room attendant was following me throughout the store, folding the same clothes over and over while customers wondered into the dressing room. I realized I had been racially profiled and they believed I had stolen the pants previously and was back to try and steal again. I purchased 2 items because I wanted to see their return policy IN WRITING. When I looked at the bottom of the receipt that is when I discovered I had been lied to and could have been given a store credit for the pants at the current sales price. After I return these 2 items I will never shop at Ann Taylor again. It's 2022, please find another way to do quality control in your stores besides racially profiling people you think look like thieves."

"Tons of great clothes. Almost too many. Good if they have sales. My only gripe is their pants really only seem to have on crotch length that does not work on my body type. They need to update fit for pants to something more modern to attract younger clients than the 50+."

"I was greeted by 2 sales reps saying hello but they continued to visit with each other. About 2 minutes later a caucasian lady came in and she was greeted and also asked was there anything special she was looking for. When she answered one of the sales reps assisted her in showing her where to look and spent time with her. Another African American lady came in a few seconds and she was greeted like I was but not offered any assistance. I asked where were the "Misses size dresses" and was told all size dresses were all together But was never offered any assistance. I need to purchase a dress for a wedding but left the store because I nor the next African American customer was offered the same level of customer service as the the Caucasian customer."
