The food is decent, but the lines are incredibly long and they don't seem to be concerned about getting customers out in a timely fashion so if you're going go well ahead of whatever appointment or time you need to be elsewhere. I've never been for lunch or dinner so I cannot speak on those."

"This review is specifically about the hot food area at lunch time. The gas pumps and selection in the store are great. The lady who prepared my plate was super rude and had an attitude like I was bothering her bc I was asking questions about the food. Put up a sign with prices and i wont have to ask so many questions. The food is a rollercoaster. Red beans, fried chicken peach cobbler, and boudin are great. Cons--- All of the vegetables have a lot of added sugar Gizzards are overly salty. Tenders have no seasoning No sign for prices so you have to ask everything. She said you get an entree and one side for 5.99 or an entree and 2 sides plus a fountain drink for 7.99 Then when i start ordering there are lots of exceptions. Oh that specific entree only come wih one side oh no red beans and rice are an entree not a side oh no boudin and livers are sold seperate and dont come on a plate. Gumbo comes in 3 sizes not as part of a plate. GET A F- SIGN ALREADY. The prices she wrote on my plate seemed totally arbitrary and the person who you pay doesnt open anything to see what you got in the boxes. Red beans and rice turnip greens and cornbread 7.99 2 piece dark chicken with fries and okra price 5.99 + 1.39 Chicken strip and okra/tomatoes with roll6.99 1 boudin 2.99 1 6p gizzard 2.39 Also i didnt ask for bread...i dont know if i was charged extra for it or if its supposed to come with it.... When she hands me the plate she says "this comes with a fountain drink" I said i dont want a fountain drink. She said "it dont matter.""

"Cons: Appears a little sketchy... *This store is not in a great part of town, but it's not the worst area of Monroe either. Gas pumps are a little outdated, but they work fine. This store is usually pretty busy since it's essentially between the poor part and the better off part of town. It looks a little like a place where you might get robbed, but I've never had a problem with anyone there and haven't heard of anyone else having one either. *They offer a huge selection of cheap wine & beer, but their hard liquor selection is not very big. The prices aren't anything special either. Pros: The best cheap booze in town! *Awesome selection of cheap wine, beer, malt liquor & similar drinks. They have one of the best selections in the area at the cheapest prices I've seen. *They sell alcohol everyday, even Sundays, and are open till about midnight. *They have a lot of snack food. More than your average store. So if you want a snack with your cheap booze, this is the place to go. Verdict: Overall, a great place to get cheap alcoholic beverages and snacks."
