"I got the BBQ chicken plate on Sunday. It came with "side" of BBQ beans and something else. It was such a tiny amount for a side. It was honestly pathetic. The BBQ chicken was so d*mn dry and bland. I'm honestly so disappointed in this place. The BBQ plates used to be so good and the sides with it weren't so tiny. The only good thing I got was the cold bread pudding"

"Excellent overstuffed shrimp poboy. The shrimp are smaller count, lightly breaded, fried perfectly so still tender with some snap and loaded in on good bread. The chicken and sausage gumbo was also very good and representative of what some long lived locals as a standard style in Acadiana (roux color, consistency of the "broth" and flavor) The people inside were all friendly. Great vibe and stop. Ps, if there is any of this sweet with heat sauce on a table around you, try it on the side. Tasty stuff."
