"I've been purchasing dresses from this shop since the early 2000s. Naturally, I wanted to find my wedding dress here. The process of finding and purchasing the dress was wonderful, and Mrs. Elaine who works there is fabulous. The alterations process and poor communication is the reasoning behind the 3 stars. The communication between the store, the seamstress, and myself was a bit of a nightmare. It took three months to alter my dress, and there was a new excuse every single time I called to ask where it was. You also have to pay for these alterations in advance- something they did not communicate clearly initially. Additionally even after three months of waiting for the dress, the alterations were INCOMPLETE (which is why am leaving this review) a bustle was never added to my dress- something we found out the day of my wedding!! I had to get a friend to sew a make-shift bustle onto my dress before my reception started (again- something I had paid to have the seamstress do!) Overall, I would recommend shopping at this bridal salon to find your dress (Mrs. Elaine is wonderful), but definately get alterations elsewhere!!"
